Fantastic game - the music and art were great, the puzzles were challenging but I got through them which I'm glad I did to see the end. I like the animation when a drawing is destroyed.

I love music-related games (see: my last year's github game off 2022 submission), and this was super creative. I love the ambient background music created by the note/platform you're on. I like the colorful art as well. Well done!
Interesting concept and great presentation! I would have liked to click and drag my cursor across scales for quicker mining but I understand that would interfere with the fact that some scales need more hits than others, so there would have to be more thought put into it. The music was good, the SFX got a little repetitive, but overall it was fun. Nice job.
Holy, great game. The music is addicting and the game itself is very creative take on a simple concept. I'm really impressed by the quality of this game, kudos! Do you have the music up online anywhere? I found myself wanting to keep the game open just to keep listening, but I don't get to hear all the tracks that way!
Simply amazing -one of my favourite games of the jam. I loved all the little details that went into making the levels feel like a real micro environment. I liked the animations of every item falling into (and out of) place when switching rooms. The background track really set the mood of every level.
Well done!
Oh man I LOVE the background track and how much is conveyed with the audio alone. I really love the use of silence/gaps at various points and I had the game open for a while afterwards so I could listen to it. @starling, do you have that up online anywhere to listen to?
Overall really well done with this game. The visuals were great and the simple gameplay concept was a nice change.
This is a hard but addicting game. I got stuck a bunch of times and despite being determined to make it to the end, the glitches made it pretty challenging to see where the fruit was when I got to the top, so I was aimlessly jumping around until I fell in the water and was sent back to the beginning so I gave up :). Really simple concept but well executed. Sure, a jump meter would have been nice but I eventually got a feel for the jump power and was flying through the map after a few minutes of playing.
The background track is awesome. Overall great game!
The concept is unique and the execution is really well done. I liked the art style too. The controls could be improved a bit, it felt a bit clunky that starting to place a bug would cancel any jumping/moving momentum, and jumping right beside walls would block the jump if there was any forward movement. Overall, it's a great game. Well done!
I love a good strategy game, this was really fun and fairly well executed and the background track was super catchy. It would be nice to see the attack range of each of the bugs before/after you move them so you don't have to guess if an enemy will be in range (maybe only for the Weevil since it's the only one with a unique attack range, but generally would be nice to see for all). Great job!
The constant bending of the lighting when walking around really made me feel like I was exploring underground passageways, never knowing when a small opening would actually lead to a big room or a thin corridor, and the darkness of the shadows was making me physically move my head trying to get a better "look" around lol. Nice job on that, I felt immersed in the underground. Also the interactive intro was a great touch - better than simply reading controls.
The rocket didn't launch far enough to collect gold for me either but honestly it's evident that you put a lot of thought into a lot of details just based on the content besides the rocket launch. The walking animation is hilarious and the music in all the scenes is so varied and adds so much. Well done!
The music really sets the tone of the game and while I wish more things spawned while I played, the emptiness was both eerie and peaceful. Controls could be improved slightly. I got stuck a few times trying to climb stairs or walk through doors because I would overshoot left and then right over and over. Nice job with this overall.
Super interesting concept for a game, I really like it. Graphics are pretty nice and the camera mechanism works fairly well. The controls and movement could be improved in my opinion. While it certainly might not be everyone's preference, I like using one hand for both movement and jumping, so W instead of spacebar would have helped the controls feel more natural to me. Solid game.
