I actually had a way setup that allowed for this, but suddenly its not working properly at all and i'm not sure why lol. if you have a randomized weather system setup, make a switch for rain to be turned on and off with rain days, cazwolf said in another post at the end of page 9 of each crop event, check if rain switch is on, if it is turn self water back on. and i also had it setup so when you first plant a crop, if rain is on, jump to label on the watered seed page when planting, so it would skip the unwatered one if rain was on while planting. this worked for a while but idk what happened xD I had a problem occur with total minutes too, people told me to use it for NPC movements because hours wasn't precise enough for map " traveling " NPCs, and it didn't work at certain hours with the day/night common event because it divides total minutes at some point for calculations, it was around the same time my NPCs got messed up that the problems with crops started so i'm not sure what's going on, i ended up getting distracted and not sure what the problem is for the crops, pretty sure i had them working properly but now they're not counting on some of the rain days and switching over and changing to watered, and often times if i plant a crop and don't water it, then it rains the next day, they won't water at all.
very certain i had it working smoothly when i first asked if you figured it out, but not anymore for whatever reason.
As for the lag, i'm having the same issue, FPS drops from 60 to 20 if you stand still on the map for more than a second and it doesn't go back to normal until you've been trying to move for a couple seconds after. I did ask about that a couple weeks ago but never got a reply back.

So i've been messing around with the tools UI, adding more seeds and all that, i've got it working properly more or less, but i noticed an issue, when you don't have ALL of the tools/seeds, it gets stuck on the last one available, and you can no longer cycle through. There isn't a " back and worth " system implemented, which i'm trying to figure out ( I have WASD keys set for movement so setting page down to go backwards doesn't really work since W is page down by default. trying to see if there is some way to change page-down to E or something )
Anyway, the tools only fully cycle through when you have all of them. even though the sample event says its meant to skip past ones you don't have. I went back and forth between everything and it all looks right. I went into the sample game that comes with your plugin to check and see if it would do it there too if you didn't have all the tools and it does. it gets locked on whatever the last one you had was. Any idea how to fix this?
I also had a question about the <self> calculations switch, what exactly does it do? Trying to see if there is a way to make these events NOT parallel somehow, because it causes some pretty heavy fps drop if you have too many crops at once :i
Well that's good, i didn't know if it would affect the actual game or not. i got rid of the special A1 tiles, it was from a set i bought and they don't even autotile anyway, every square of grass has an ugly dark ridge, so it was a waste of money lol I just got it recently, so it wasn't the original cause and is only responsible for the red bit.
with SpecialA1tiles off It seems the only time i get the popup is if core engine is active, doesn't matter if the zoom plugin is on or not, it doesn't popup unless core engine is. that's annoying, wish i knew how to get rid of it, the one thing that was suggested before i did try and it didn't help. -3-
It seems to only activate on the map with your spawns tho, so idk if anyone else has had it happen or just me? either way, i'm glad it doesn't seem like it will cause any real problems.
Hi!! Sorry for the delay, i haven't been on RPG maker in a really long time but this problem still isn't resolved. Contrary to whatever i said before, this popup happens seemingly anywhere on my map and seems to popup at random? I now notice i can force the popup by going to the path just above the big field at the lower section of the farm, but it does seem to happen no matter where i go but it seems more random if i just run around for a few seconds, but that one spot seems to be a direct trigger.
This is the exact popup i'm getting right now. So sorry again for the wait, i didn't think i would get burnt out so bad! ( also my dog was diagnosed with cancer around that time and i wasn't really doing much. )
Also seems like the red part is only there when i step on the EXACT spot that force-triggers it, anywhere else i get the one i showed in my last message, which is again, basically the same. i'm not 100% positive i haven't gone back do double check it but pretty sure the red part isn't always there.
The way the game is setup is you see a cutscene, which starts off on the map with the original spawn events ( as directed. ) and you end up auto traveled into your house at the end of the cutscene. then you go outside, and that's where i encounter the error.
Based off the info on the right of this screenshot, the visustella core engine and zoom plugins seem to be having issues with something on this map, but the only thing different from this map specifically is the spawns. this doesn't seem to happen on any other map.
I figured a lot of it out, but the biggest issue is trying to get the time to work so its not black screen 24/7, and how to tint the player lighting, no matter what i do i can't figure out how to tint it. i was able to tint the lighting for placed lighting like for fire, but not the players there doesn't seem to be any setting for it anywhere?
And i found an issue with the day night system of yours, i'm trying to setup npc type events that travel, but i don't want time to pass while talking to them, but if i talk to them at night, the tint turns back to day light while " time is flowing " is off.
I also can't seem to make it so its not dark indoors at night either x'D
Thanks so much! I will check it out and see if it helps any! I just find the default tinting effects tend to also tint any lighting and its just not the vibe, if i want bright orange fire lighting i want it to actually look like the area is being lit, its just layers on top of layers and it looks janky.
I appreciate the quick response! Been off rpg maker for several months, got super burnt out, but i need to go back and see if i can fix the issues i was having with your other plugins ( resource spawning and relationship journal ) I still haven't resolved those ^^;
I don't suppose you know if that plugin has a cohesive tutorial ( video preferred ) on exactly how to set things up and what each param/command does? i haven't the slightest idea where to start i'm having issues with figuring out how to turn it on and off alongside the time because as of rn its set with note tags which i'm not super familiar with. i did manage to figure out how to adjust the screen size of the plugin and stuff tho ( in case you saw the original post i did edit it down. ) I have a flame event turn on and off at a certain time of day with pages, but the note take is always present in the event so i can't seem to turn it off. and the over all black screen tint around my actor is automatically present with any other lighting effect/event.
I've been trying to figure out how to go about adding lighting affects to certain parts of certain maps, but only at night. i have this day/night system, but with how the visustella lighting effects system seems to work implies it also does the tinting itself for night time effects, so do you know if that plugin would work while using this one? i'd prefer to keep using this day night system, and use the plugin effects as an add on if its possible to do so. i feel like it probably is but there isn't really a way for me to know for sure without buying the plugin first. Just wanna make sure its night tint isn't directly controlled by the plugin or something that would affect my ability to use this day/night system easily along side it.
Yes i tried that, but you can't edit it exactly, you can only pick left, right, or center, and i want the text in the upper left corner of the boxes, it doesn't seem like i can change the x and y of the text only. the only way i can precisely move the numbers would be if i move the entire box the number is in, but the number will still be in the same place within the box. also pictures only show up UNDER the choice boxes, so there would be a black square on top of the images, unless of course i made them transparent, but would the highlight effect still work if i did that?
I think would have to have the numbers be a part of the lower image as well because if i hid the dim black box and moved the text up, the highlight box would move up as well and wouldn't fit over the image underneath anymore. i was hoping there was a way to move ONLY the text within the box without the limits of the 3 placement presets.
This is what the console section says when i directly interact with priscilla and select an option to spawn stuff, seems there's a specific error in regards to the source map? but i honestly have no idea what that means or how to fix it. is it possible to shift the position of the day's number and the icon shown? I'd prefer it to have the icon bottom right of the square, and number text upper left, instead of both centered left. I was looking through all the settings and did find the UI y position, but that controls both, and also doesn't have an " upper left " just " left, right, or center "
Is it possible for me to change the choices to have no text and just show a picture for the number on top instead so i can place them exactly how i want? or is that not practical? lol
I'm also trying to figure out how to move the entire UI/choices downwards, i have my resolution at 1920x1080 and its way at the top. i got it all moved horizontally but i can't seem to get it to move vertically.
Edit, i made due with what i could work with and made my own custom backdrops for the calendar so they fit the choice section properly, however i would still like to know if there is a way to show images above choices that you know of, so i can edit the calendar to look more like my own style, and perhaps similar to harvest moon calendars with clearer images that better fit the windows .
Additionally, is there a way to change the " hover " color from blue to custom between pages, or will it use the same image material for ALL UI 'hover' the same throughout my game?
and if possible i'd like to move the " back " button up to the top or even remove its graphic all together from the calendar window, don't like that its placed in the middle and its kinda ugly, but i don't really want to change it on the entire game

So, it works fine in your demo map in playtest ( I did manage to fix whatever was causing the time to change to midnight when closing the menu ) but on mine, despite being copied over exactly, and having every variable and switch reserved and titled correctly, entire maps and common events copied, its EXTREMELY laggy when the menu is opened, occasionally freezes the playtest completely and doesnt let me close the menu or the game. and when i try to switch between the characters, it jumps several spots instead of going up or down just one, and i have no idea what to do about it.
I thought maybe it was something to do with visustellas core engine because i had the resolution upped and thought maybe that would somehow affect the x and y somewhere or something, but as it turns out i have the same issue with switching between characters even with every single plugin turned off : /
It is an existing game that i'm working on but i don't have very much on it besides the plugins i bought from you and the visustella base pack, most of what i've done has just been making some maps and setting up basic stuff like a shop, some monsters, doors, and one single book menu i made myself, i haven't gotten into any real complicated stuff yet like npc routs and cutscene/events.
I do also still need help figuring out how to add more people to the list, ( I could easily make it longer with having more resolution to work with, but i'd probably still need a second page and idk how to add that onto your system without messing it all up ) i've tried to figure that out but i can't really do anything until the other issue is fixed and what's already there is actually functional. I've been going back and forth over this for almost two weeks trying to figure out what's wrong but i'm just not experienced enough to know what to look for -3-
I'm tempted to just start a new project and just copy things over one by one starting with yours and see if something sets it off again..

Ok so i tinkered around with it and i managed to fix the farming system to work on my map, Now i just need to see if there's a way to play with the movement settings so my character turns before they start walking when pressing the arrow keys, its hella annoying trying to hoe the ground when you have to keep backtracking to previous spaces every time you try to move forwards because you walk over the space you want to hoe instead of just facing it xD
and i'm still having the same problems with the relationship manager not functioning properly, and its got an issue that happens on the demo map so i have no idea what's wrong still, i can't really compare the two files because the main one has the issue lol
Edit: If it helps, i used the " time is flowing " switch and turned it off and on ( like how its set in other events of yours ) and that also set the time to midnight when it turned back on.
Yeah, here you go. sorry if there's something glaringly obvious that says whats wrong on there, i'm new and also dyslexic a random wall of text is near impossible for me to decipher without already knowing what i'm looking for haha
I did also notice, its now randomly popping up when i run around on that yard map even when i haven't triggered the event. it didn't do that before, and as far as i know, its only happening on that map. i did a comparison just now and the devtool window looks identical with that popup too. it seems to appear when i run over to the right side below those fences on the other side of that bush, first time i noticed it that's where it was, and i just ran over there again, popped up again, and i ran around the map a while in all different directions, it didn't pop up until i went to that exact same spot again
I took a screen shot of the map, that area that's in the white selected square is i think exactly where the pop up triggers, it seems like it doesn't pop up if i already got the pop up from triggering the event, so it only happens once per play test by the looks of it, but it could keep doing it if i were to leave the map or something i'm not sure
It doesn't do this on your map, but it does it on mine for some reason and i can't for the life of me figure out what's causing it. the only answers i've found online is people saying its the visustella console on boot being turned on but mine is set to false so its not that. it pops up every time i have the event run, either when i talk to Priscilla and trigger it while on the same map ( like how you have it setup on your map ) or when i had it setup to trigger with sleep, it would happen as soon as i entered the map where it was active ( was testing in my own yard for speed )
it never freezes the game or shuts it down, but the devtools window won't stop showing up in my playtests. the only other times i've had this happen was with JS errors if i did something wrong, most of the time if it was that the game wouldn't run at all, but i'm pretty positive i've set it up all accurately? got any ideas?
I also wanted to add, that with the relationship manager, i'm not quite sure how to make it work properly, because i'm not sure what's wrong. i've double checked and every single variable, switch and common event are copied correctly, when i click an arrow key to scroll the list, it jumps to 2 or 3 instead of just 1 at a time, and there's a lag between movements, sometimes it does nothing, and its bugging out, my game keeps freezing if i do it too much. i actually had to task manger force shut down on it because it wouldn't close.
i imagine its something to do with another plugin, but the only ones i have that aren't visustella ( which affects the screen resolution ), is a zoom one, that allows me to adjust how zoomed in my screen is ( because its set to 1920 x 1080 and the character is TINY and too much of the map is visible. ) i have the show pictures plugin, which you also have so that's not the issue, and the " Galv's Layer Graphics MZ " for parallaxing. I tried disabling the 'zoom' and 'Galv's Layer Graphics MZ' plugins, and the issue didn't resolve. so its probably something to do with the screen resolution. the relationship manager window stays small, and is over to the left side with the res at 1920 x 1080, as it should, i'm going to have to recenter it if i figure out what's going on with the tabs. The scrolling between characters in the manager works fine on your map, its only on mine where its doing that.

So i just bought and installed everything for the wave1 bundle, reserved all the switches and variables and all that, but i've run into a bit of a problem and i don't know what the issue is. I tested in the demo and the files in my own game and it seems to only affect my game. When i select the hoe, i A, can't use it, and B, get stuck in a sideways pose and no matter which direction i run i'm stuck in the animation for hoeing, standing sideways ready to use the tool and not able to run. I have the visustella plugin pack ( movement core, engine core, battle core, message core, options core, ect. ) with wsad movements setup. I did send you a friend request on Discord as you suggested on youtube i message you there ( i had to send a request in order to send a message because it doesn't allow me to message you there otherwise and i don't have twitter- Hi this is StarlightBettaGamer btw lol ) but you've probably been busy which is fine.
Edit: I realized i forgot to move over the animation for Reid with the hoe, and that SORTOF fixed it, it changes the character to ried as soon as you try to use an item like the hoe, and it stays reid lol so i can move around now, ( even tho it changes to reid- i'll obviously be animating the MC with the tools separately to fix this problem ) but also it still doesn't actually hoe the ground, and the hoe animation only shows the how on the ground not the swinging motion? i've obviously missed something somewhere but i thought i got it all xD
do you by chance have the blank base template for the items so i can make my MC clearly?
I was also wondering if there was a way to easily hide the tools menu when not in use? its a blank box at the start, but as soon as you start cycling through tools you're stuck showing your selected tool all the time and i'd like to have a button hide and bring it back up if possible?? if not, that's fine, i was just wondering if it was possible to do. Do you know of a plugin that allows for MZ to use other keys besides the defaults for " if button is pressed " statements? i'd prefer to not use Q souly for the item selection. arrow keys appear to be locked as a secondary movement option so i can't use the up arrow unless you know of a way to adjust that i'm kind of new lol IF it was possible, i'd prefer to keep wasd keys for movement, and up arrow to bring up tools, down to hide the tools, and left/right arrows to cycle through tools but i'm not sure that's possible or easily achieved for a noob like myself. being dyslexic makes it a huge chore to try and sift through text through the plugins ;3;
Edit: I would also like to add, that in the download map that comes with the bundle, the book that opens the relationship manager for some reason changes the time to 12am when the book is closed, it doesn't just do this on my game it does it on the one i got in the bundle too
