The game is really pleasant! The art for the plants is a nice shade to look at and I love all the textures. The strawberry plants are my favorite! Physically dragging the plants around and watching them flop is really fun.
The popup menu while hovering over the plants does get a little overwhelming after a lot of flowers are placed, but otherwise I had a great time.
I left with more questions than answers, but in a good way.
The puzzle room was a little confusing at first, but it may be clearer in any future updates with a player sprite/avatar showing up in the mirror as well.
My favorite part was the room with all the water and walls that kinda look like meat, I did love the sound and flashlight mechanic.
I loved this whimsical idea so much! Everything is just generally cute and spooky until I got stabbed 30 times in the back
The vibes are immaculate, although it was a bit of a learning curve to time the reload properly. At some point I will admit I stopped looking forward and mostly just sat backwards to shoot the pumpkins.
Would definitely play again! Waiting on that picture >:)
I enjoyed the game but I don't think the night manager liked me back
One minute to slap the list together is good for urgency, but I think a few more markers in the store would make it less frustrating to find the items. The short time limit really does make information fly in one ear and out the other in a blind panic.
Would play again, bringing all my coupons
I was really looking forward to this in the Discord server, and I really like the art!
Unfortunately I did get really lost and ended up giving up. The monster is extremely intimidating from afar and the audio did make me jump when it was close, but once I realized the monster didn't have a chasing mechanic I figured it wasn't so scary anymore.
I think a menu would be really good for the game, when I loaded it up it was really jarring to be suddenly in the catacombs. I was so startled and panicked about the controls that the monster ended up wandering into me immediately.
Jumpscare when you get caught is really good tho not gonna lie :D
The books were a delight, absolutely loved Dr Teeth and Alaric Is Trans BTW
I got the Driven to Suicide ending but didn't really feel the effect and horror of years slipping by. If the background art faded or showed more signs of age, I think this would help. Otherwise with a little more sound design I think this could be neat!
The atmosphere was nailed down to a T, I found myself creeping around corners and checking behind myself a lot to see if the bodies got up.
My biggest thing is mostly the lack of prompts, I got a little confused at the start and couldn't quite figure out the controls without trial and error. With the non-interactable doors I think a text box that says "it won't budge" would help push the player to explore more a little bit faster.
That being said I really enjoyed the experience! Thank you for coming to the stream :D
I saw a telescope and was a little disappointed I couldn't use it, but that's fine.
I found the environment really charming and laughed at the "truck" keys (thought they went to the ship), but I will admit I did end up giving up when I turned the wrong way in the field and got stuck on a fence. I didn't really want to do more work to try to find the exit and let myself get caught.
The addition of another alien in the field was a really good surprise! I didn't think much of the alien's chase speed but did a double take when I saw two come out.
I was crowned King Wormie and the power has absolutely gone to my head
This was a wonderfully well...Absurd game! Definitely got Killer Klowns from Outer Space vibes and enjoyed every bit of it. I thought staying behind the fence would lead to a funny little gag about not progressing the story and was instead horrified to see my house and honkening.
10/10, I'm probably gonna go back and see what I missed. There were more choices than I expected!
This was a really satisfying experience! While I wasn't really horrified, I was absolutely delighted to repel the star fish apart to multitask and eat people.
My biggest complaint would mostly be the background environment. With the camera so focused, it's a little easy to get lost when the walls look very similar to each other.
I had a blast, would definitely pick this game back up again :D
