Overall, a very solid game! I really love the art style! It's very cute and something I don't really see much, level design is good too! It really made me think a lot and very fun. I love the music and it doesn't really feel repetitive (although it may be) but I feel it's good. Overall a very good game that I would love to revisit again!
I suggest having a fullscreen mode as I needed to zoom in. Other than that, amazing work as solo developer!
VERY DIFFICULT to play but I can see the game is very polished when I play (need to play more to give a much more detailed feedback) but overall a very solid game, really enjoy the idea of this into the game. I think its a player skill issue for me that it is weird for me to control but definitely feels good. Definitely a rage game looking at other people's comments :D

In terms of story, you can check the description now, we have recently change and update it to better reflect our game. In terms of the naming, EB stands for Electric Boogaloo which was something we were joking about that was funny at that point, it's just a meme of having a sequel to something. Which perfectly fits cause the GMTK theme video is roles reversed, and essentially we are making a sequel to something (tbh we never thought much about it, it was just a joke).
As for statue head, the statue is actually the Statue of David by Michelangelo. A lot of these bust and statues head are very prominent in Vaporwave theme. If you search for vaporwave style, I am sure you can see a lot of references to statue head. We thought it fits to the theme Vaporwave as this is the style we are going for. David is just the one we picked that looked is the best.

I love the concept art but it needs more polishing. There needs to be more SFX and music, I need the pew pew pew and asteroids sound. The art for the game is good too but I feel this game is incomplete for me but good job! I love that I am also able to pick different assets for asteroids, do they have different effects?
Also try to fix the fullscreen button, as I am unable to press the unity fullscreen button, only the itch.io one.

I love how the game loop, it's really beautifully made, the colours and even the fonts, like damn. It's art itself ahaha. I don't particularly play much rhythm game so this was very challenging for me. I find it visually appealing and mindblowing on how the team made this. I think the idea and gameplay of it is very appealing compared to other rhythm games like Osu. Definitely would love to see this idea being worked on even more. Definitely onto something
Man I wish there was an ending to this game. I notice you're a solo developer and I want to say you did a great job! Finding all the assets together, making the game work together is very tough. You did an amazing job, the game runs perfectly, can see this as a mobile game really. Would love to see either an endless run with leaderboards and highscores, levels with difficulty with the 3 star scoring system like cut the rope, or in any variance with some sort of ending is good. Overall, very cute game, gameplay wise, I find it weird sometimes when I eat the star, I can move my player still, so maybe there's an issue? but other than that, good submission :D
This game is beautifully made, it made me feel things that I didn't know I am capable of. The music, ambience, sfx, the art, the cute little froggies, heck even the lilypads. They are all tied together in perfect harmony. This was definitely a masterpiece, thanks for making this game and submitting this wonderful lovely game. Really makes my day even better <3
I find the game quite challenging to play, maybe it's just me. I think the time limit really made it way much harder for me to enjoy the game :( I think some level of balance will be good, maybe a much more lenient time limit to allow me more time to properly set things up. I think strategically planning will be the way to go. I kinda figured out how to play after trying like 10 times, some times can be hooked onto the left side and at the top to avoid things dropping often, some long items can be placed at the bottom or the right side. Asides that, I think the game has very good visuals, which makes it very unique compared to other games. Definitely wanna pack my suitcase with explosives and guns for sure ahaha
Glad you love the crazy idea we came up with and enjoyed our game! It is up to the player how they wish to pursue and play the game, picking weak upgrades means player will most likely die to a massive swarm of enemies, on the other hand, player may have a difficult time dodging bullets from the turret due to the turret being stronger. Definitely thinking of ways to improve so that players can play the game for just a tat bit longer bit of time. Our leaderboard also took a while but glad we got it implemented! Massive 5,5,5 from me. Spectacular! This game is very well made. I love how creative the game is, managing the platforms to make sure the robot gets to the flag safely. The level design of the game is very good which blew me away. I had so much fun figuring out each levels, and you guys even had a level selector which is amazing! I love how the game looks and how polished it is. SFX and Music are good too! I feel nothing much needs to be said, you guys are right on the money. I can see this game becoming an actual game with more complex level designs, more obstacles, perhaps different characters, different skins of the map, all sorts of ways! Definitely top contender and top 100 for sure! Definitely one of my favourite for this jam.
This game is very fun for me, I love the boing boing of the knight, with how bouncy the knight is. I can even cheese it in a way where it is bouncing between 2 things and u can make it fly all the way up. I see this as an intended game feature AHAHA. Although I didn't reach the end, till level 30, (curious how many levels is it for ending) I would love to try to reach it if I have the time for it. Game was very fun! I also find the game to be creative, I feel if this game was just a ball or slime and you're putting things to make it go up, it wouldn't be as fun as this knight boing boing its way up of the tower to reach the top. I like how they are also bugs that spawns that makes it harder and the lava going up its amazing although it doesn't make sense (everything doesn't have to make sense). I definitely love the music choice and the sfx of boing boing. Initially the art style and title didn't really caught my eye but now it's like, I really like the concept art of the main menu. I think it is very well drawn. For game assets, I find them very cute ahaha and its like this odd contrast of cute and metal music but the colour scheme makes sense.
Overall, definitely one of my favourites that I have played for this GMTK :D
I finally figure out how to play this game! Although I read on how to play the game, I find the game very hard to get into nor even understand. I guess it was overall very confusing to me as a player. I know my task was supposed to scare the man in the middle, but I didn't know I could interact with objects. I always press scream and my battery often quickly goes to 0% and restarts again. This game makes me feel it is not player friendly at all, as I remember playing and got very demotivated as I do not understand what to do and why does my battery keeps dying.
Now successfully I can say 8 scares and 125 bpm I think playing for the 2nd time, understanding I can interact with my environment to increase the BPM and get a higher score. I still personally find it confusing on why the battery drains so fast, it feels unnatural and it doesn't feel fun. I think the Roomba bot is a cute touch that deters players for staying in one place for too long. I also feel, as a player, the game was just very lacking in terms on what to do. Maybe a bigger map with more interactions might work? I find it very difficult to get the perfect camera scare due to my battery always keeps dying which I find very annoying as a player. Losing isn't fun in this game I feel. I feel if the battery drains slower, it will keep the game fun, and implementing a way where I as a player can't go into the guard's room until a certain BPM has been reach will be good. This gives me a goal as a player to find ways to interact, increasing the guard's BPM, and go into his room to scare him. I see this game potentially having a lot of levels and different sort of maps, with maybe more roombas.
Playing the game and constantly dying to battery draining didn't really made it fun for me personally.
Other than that, it fits the vibe of the game, I like the simple art style and the overall look of the game.
A puzzle game that I can finally finish! Can see why many people love and enjoy this game. I find it very creative that you can play the game with only the pause, fast forward and restart button. It was very fun figuring out the levels of each game. The game is definitely very quirky with its own art style and writing, which in a way is cute as well, in its own way giving it some sort of hand drawn, sketching sort of vibes. I think the music was too repetitive for me, but this is just me nitpicking. Overall I enjoyed finding ways of finding the way of going through each levels :D Pretty good submission!
