Thank you for playing my game :3

I loved the overall atmosphere of the game. Gives of really grim and urgent feeling. I was able to get two endings. A prompt on how many endings you have unlocked and how many there are would have been helpful!

Also I was surprised to see Dr.Niel Watts and River in the game :3

Thanks alot Jane! Ahaha I totally get what you mean by the learning curve, making the player have more control over the boom box throws might have been the way to go :3 thank you for giving my game a try!

Wow, that was super neat! I absolutely love the concept. You guys have executed the idea really well!

The only thing I personally felt was that the pathfinding of the enemies could have been improved. I really loved the glitchy enemies tho, they were fun to play against.

Another suggestion, this is a very personal opinion tho, I felt the wait time between the enemy hits below zero health and then turns glitchy can be reduced. I found myself camping an enemy until he respawned back as the glitchy version so that I could kill it again. This disrupted the otherwise quick and fast gameplay...maybe having the enemy transform immediately  without a wait time is something you can try. More about how you want the game to be balanced.

Well done team, this is a super polished and fun entry! Good shit!

Ah I think I understand what you mean! I honestly should have put some time into making a tutorial section, so basically you jump over the normal hurdles, but then the players you hit space when you are ON them ( kind of like a rhythm game so as to pass the baton), if you jump over the other players you are not connecting and it counts as a fail state! I am sorry for the confusion! I will work on adding a tutorial section in the start! Thanks for giving it a try!

A very fun narrative! I can't believe you made a game with multiple endings for a jam! Kudos to the work put in! I really enjoyed the calming piano piece as the bgm as well! Gave an eerie feel to the whole lonely space thing!

(1 edit)

What a clever and well-executed idea! Brilliant! Great entry! A bgm would have been the cherry on top, but the other sounds were crisp and perfect!

Smooth controls and really fun! Absolutely a delight to play! Great entry!

I checked with a secondary issue but yes, I faced the same issue! I will try to fix it post-voting period! Thank you for your time!

Oh Alright, thanks for letting me know! I asked a few people to try it and it seemed to work for them so I am not sure! It honestly might be the build problem I think! Thanks for giving it a shot either way! Much appreciated!

That was a fun experience! I found the letters really funny! It was fun to read through them!

My only suggestion is  regarding the sudden shift of camera everytime you turn around! It hurt my eyes after a while! and like the other comments mentioned, I did get stuck near the moving platforms for a while (might be some collider issue)

Congrats on the submission! Keep up the great work!

Really fun game and puzzle design! I loved the audio and the eerie space sounds!

I did feel the "how to play" part was a little hard to read!

Overall had a good time with the game!

Hi I have taken down the web version cause I believe the issues you felt were because of that! Please give the downloaded game a chance! Thank you for your feedback!

Hey everyone! I took down the web version as it was giving a terrible experience! I would really appreciate it if you would take some time to give the downloadable version a try!

I will be updating the browser version once the jam voting period is over :3 Thanks alot!

The theme I was going for is very simple actually: Based on connecting you are passing the baton over to the other people - Relay after all is a game about connection!

I wanted to ask if you played the browser version or the downloaded one! The browser one doesn't work as intended right now! I am pretty sure the experience will be much better in the downloadable veersion! Please let me know if you get the time to try it! I will be making a more stable browser version later once the jam voting period is over!

Thanks for your feedback! Much appreciated!

Thanks alot for giving it a try! Much appreciated!

Thanks alot for giving it a shot!

Beautiful game and atmosphere! I really loved the concept and art! Beautiful soundtrack as well!

This could have been just a puzzle platformer, but I highly appreciate the time you guys took to weave in the narrative element as well!

Great entry y'all!

Hi all! You guys have made such an incredible game! I love how polished it is! Even though I don't have a VR set, I still had a fun time playing it on my pc!

The atmosphere, the ost and the narration all of them were top notch! I really want to emphasize on how beautiful the soundtrack and narration was! Truly a gem!

I did get stuck here tho, like my character was not able to pass through this wall for some reason! Maybe I am just dumb and missing the puzzle, but he couldn't get through the door even as the teenager! Let me know if you can help me with this!

Thank you so much for giving it a shot! I am glad you liked it!

Thank you so much Sam for giving it a go!

Thank you! I will get to updating the jump and making it feel better post the jam rating period! Thanks alot for letting me know!

Thanks again Ryan for your confirmation! I will be updating the jump post the game jam rating window! Thank you :3

MUST GRIND MORE! NEED TO BE STRONK!

Super fun game! I was initially surprised when my projectiles turned on me, but then remembered that I was a mediocre wizard :P Pretty fun mechanic!

I was able to handle until three enemies pretty well! But oof 4 were a little rough! I guess I just need more upgrades! hehehe

Nice work! I would love to hear from you on how you interpreted the theme tho!

I really enjoyed my time with this game!

I absolutely love how you used two sides of the same coin where you make us play running towards the light first, then away from it! Thats a really clever and impressive way to make use of an existing mechanic in a game to get double the gameplay! Clever!

@RTDMFN I feel you don't have to be pressured in regards to making your own music! Just look for good royalty-free tracks you can use (and credit them where required). I personally go for any CC0 tracks I can find around the internet, especially for the jams that allow external assets!

Absolutely amazing art style! I love how you brought the paper drawings to life! Such a simple and clean game!

Also, the shooting sound effect was super satisfying! I even killed the contact many times to hear that gratifying paper crunch :3

The only thing I was is that there were more levels! And maybe a game mode where there is a countdown to the time you have to kill the others instead of a count up! That would be super thrilling and tight!

Overall had a good time with the game! I love the beautiful paper art!

(P.S My fastest killing time was 6.9 seconds (nice))

Thanks alot Ryan! I appreciate you checking out the game!

I wanted to ask the same thing I asked the previous comment, did you try holding on to the space bar or just tapping it? The more you hold onto it, it gives you a bigger air time! But please do let me know if you still found it difficult post that! I will make the necessary update to the jump in the post jam period!

Thanks alot for checking it out and leaving a comment!

Hi! Thanks alot for checking out my game!

I wanted to add a tutorial section in the beginning but sadly fell short of time! I will get to this when I update the game post jam!

I wanted to ask whether you tried holding the space bar? When you keep it held the air time is a little higher compared to when you tap it! Or do you feel its still short even after the held out jump? Thanks for letting me know, I didn't have much time to playtest it, and I will look into improving it in the future update!

Thank you so much!

I tried playing this on firefox! But I am not getting enough jump clearance to jump over the green enemy! I really liked the sound design and concept of the game tho :3

I loved the game! Simple and clean! Controls felt fluid and nice! I loved the music and the dash mechanic!

Super fun and polished game! I loved it!

Neat and clean! well executed :) I love the many variety of bugs you have incorporated!

Ahaha very fun game! I loved it!

Amazing game! I love the lighting and particle effects you have used! beautiful character designs as well! Found the game a little difficult as you are swarmed by enemies from the very start!

I love the intro and the overall vibe of the game! but man am I terrible at this! Would love it if we had a bit more ready time before getting pelted by attacks! but overall super enjoyable graphics and the chiptune and idea is wonderful!

Yes I 100% agree flying can be made a lot more better tbh :3 thanks alot for your valuable feedback and giving this game a try :D

Absolutely beautiful game! Impressive artsyle and sound design!

Such an eye-candy of a game! I love everything about it from the music, to the neon artsyle and the damn good graphics. Not to say the fluidity of it all! Amazing work! keep it up <3
