A delight to play! Worldbuilding and gameplay are the highlights of this game. The puzzles were good enough to make the mind think and I appreciate that it wasn't a chore or annoying to do. Nice to have those cutscenes and a good bit of drama, so very well done guys!
Very nice game. What I am suggesting is just what most people are suggesting and that is to have checkpoints. Other than that the game is top class.
Really well done on the polish of this game, really liked the camera work and the bits of sound and animation that were used. Made it very clear what was happening. Awesome work!
thank you!
Really challenging game, nice music and art. The jumps feels a bit to floaty.
thanks for the feedback!
A really good story,great level design & visuals,Great Job!
thanks :)
Best tutorial from all games i played here! Also love cut scene at the beginning. Game are really good polished! And you even have time to add easter egg) But in first time i played i got bug on second level, when both man and robot was on elevator, end level wasn't trigger.
hmm.. that's strange. no one else had that problem. thanks for playing though!
thank you!
Great game! (So sad about
redacted, can't believe that!)The web build breaks on the second level but I was able to play it through on the download.
Love the cute pixel art and little story to go along with it. Well done :)
wow thanks for playing all the way through!
could you tell me how the web build breaks on the second level?
i played it all the way on web, and i've seen others play it through and there didn't seem to be any problems?
the only problems we had were lighting bugs cause of the unity version we were using, but besides that there didn't seem to be any other problems?
It broke when I went into the elevator. I think it tried to do something but I could move both characters behind the scene once they entered the elevator and the doors closed. I let it sit for a minute hoping it would move to the next level but nothing happened. Not sure what went wrong as I played it through 3 times to see if restarting the level would fix it but it seemed to not have an effect.
Update: I just played it through again and it worked this time. Could have just been that instance of the tab/browser being open that Chrome did something weird on the backend.
hmm.. that's strange. thanks for telling me though. if we do continue the game we'll definitely do a bit of testing to see what's causing it
This is really polished! I super like the intermittent cutscenes in the elevator between levels, what a great way to smoothly transition while telling the story. One thing I would want is checkpoints throughout some levels, as I fell after completing a large chunk of a level, and had to restart all over again, but that is personal preference since my coordination sucks haha.
oooooooooooof yeah many people wanted checkpoints ahhhh
should've thought about that first but uhhhhhhhhhhhh
thanks for playing lol
Loved the different mechanics and the amazing level design! Great job!
thanks :)
Wow, that was a very nice experience. The game is fun and the plot is interesting. I love that there are different obstacles on different floors and that both characters have to cooperate to pass the level.
thank you!
Quite a good all round entry. Theme, fun, art, onboarding to mechanics - all good.
thank you for playing! i just watched the whole video!
Very polished. Switching between Chars is smooth and fells just right. The falling platforms bringing dynamic and the puzzles are simple but really enjoyable.
thanks :)
Based on your gamer skillz I thought this would be TERRIBLE, but it was actually really really good. The mechanics were really smooth and fun, and it had puzzles that were pleasant to complete (albeit pretty easy/simple). I do have to say that everything gets really blurry when you move around (or when the camera pans between players) so its not great looking in motion. Also the camera takes a long time to get between the characters on long levels and can become a drag because of that. The story was really cute but I was HOPING for a twist betrayal at the end that didn't come :( Overall a super solid a fun game, great job!
Final Rating: 1/5 No tbag button
HAHA you're the only person I've heard that wanted a twist betrayal! If we had more time we would have made separate buttons or sliders for motion blur and other post processing effects, but you can click the little star in the top right corner of the main menu to turn off all post processing. Thanks for playing!
tbag button coming in the alpha release 😭💀
okay listen here buddy my skills are superb and your french baguette game was broken therefore
7seven > spooky
No no I don't accept that. Bad gamer was exposed, nothing you can do about it now :)
sureee
I liked the concept and the puzzles were fun. The art was cool too!
It would have been nice to have a checkpoint after falling into a pit. Having to restart from the beginning each time was a little annoying.
Also, I think I ran into a glitch. On one of the levels I made it to the end with both the robot and Mike and it appeared that I still could control the camera with WASD, which was strange.
One super small nit-pick: I felt like the dialogue text was a little inconsistent. In the starting cutscene it was really fast and hard to read, and then in the elevator it was slow, but the ability to load it all with space was nice!
Overall though, it was a fun game!
thanks for playing, i know a lot of people wanted checkpoints which kinda sucked. the opening dialogue was super fast, i know, crafty's end cutscene was so much better. cheers!
I loved it great cutscenes and fun gameplay, Good job!!
thanks!
A highly immersive and enjoyable experience.
My only complaint is that it can be frustrating having to completely redo each level's slow-going puzzles if one character dies; I'd suggest adding a checkpoint midway through some of the longer levels.
Yeah, many people suggested checkpoints! Thanks for playing though :)
Very nicely done. The dual character mechanic was cool, especially with the hazards that only applied to one of them.
I ran into a small bug, the final elevator failed to ascend once I had both characters in, replaying the level fixed it fortunately.
A great game!
So sorry that you had to run into that bug! Thank you for still giving that level a chance so that you could see the final cutscene :) Hope you had fun playing.
Hmm... strange bug. Maybe they weren't fully touching the collider though, not sure. As Crafty said, we're glad you played again to get to the final cutscene!
polished
ITS DAVID FROM YOUTUBEUEBUEU3E!!!!
the greatest streamers that exist
I'm impressed, it's really perfect ! Level design, graphics, mecanics between those two cute little guys... it's a very good work ! I really appreciate all the cutscenes (even if it's a bit fast in the opening scene). To me it's the best game i've played in this jam ^-^
The opening cutscene was (unfortunately) made by me, and not Crafty (who made the ending one)
In conclusion: I basically just made the levels cause I'm good at level design and suck at cutscenes
Thanks for playing though lol
Hahah you not bad at all, all those camera mouvement was so cool, you can be proud of you really ! And you are a good level designer too. Very god job both of you :)
