A really clever idea. Being a rat let's you experience the environment in a totally different way! Very cool.

Thanks so much for playing! Once the jam rating period is over I'll make some updates, including more/better music.

I really enjoyed this. It felt like a perfect, elegant interpretation of the theme. I loved the visual style and the audio felt perfectly suited to the game.

A really great game. It's excellently presented - both the graphics and sound were perfect. The puzzles are just about my level of difficulty, and the way the narrative is encorporated is really smart. Congratulations on making it.

Thanks for playing. The idea wasn't communicated very well in the end, but you're a lowly kitchen helper who's not supposed to be messing with the chef's original recipe (hmm, maybe I should just put this in the description).

Originally I had planned that you would need to clean up any mess the chef made, and if you left it too long he would come looking for you.

It's a really fun idea, and really well realised within the limited time of the jam - amazing job! I enjoyed it a lot, and it felt pretty solid to me. I love the name too - excellent bad punning!

A really fun game. I did eventually go and save Alice, but I was happy just sailing around taking out pirates and getting gold for quite a long time - and the music was perfect!

I really enjoyed this game. The mystery was engaging, but the text was not overly wordy (which often puts me off narrative games). It's just so well polished too - fantastic stuff, congratulations.

This has the makings of a fun mobile game, I enjoyed it. I think the idea is great, and it has that 'one more go' thing going on.

I enjoyed this game from start to finish. It's obviously beautiful to look at, but I also thought it was very well planned out and the audio was great too. Fantastic job, one of my favourites so far.

Quick related question. Is it also allowed to add better screenshots or video to the game page during the voting period? Or even update the cover image?

I really like the visual style and it's a clever idea. Overall really good fun.

Very atmospheric and stylish. I liked the idea of the challenges of the different creatures within the same setting. I enjoyed it.

Thanks. Some way of navigating space is definitely required! I liked the 'hotter/colder' system you had in your game.

Thanks for the responses.

I also see that some GB emulators use Enter for Start and Backspace for Select - which is another idea.

(To be clear,  I'm not saying I would make a game that runs on an emulator, just that those controls work for a certain community of GB gamers.)

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations for good keys to use for the different buttons - particularly for the Start and Select buttons.

Are there any conventions or things people might expect?
