This game was great. I had discounted Ren’Py as a visual novel engine but after seeing what you were able to create I am amazed I didn’t consider it earlier. Great work!
The fact you were able to create this game all by yourself, especially all within 1 month, shows how incredibly talented you are! The music, the artwork and the gameplay is beautiful and it's very intriguing. Hopefully one day I can be as creative and artistic as you. Amazing work!
Great art, and I loved the way the roguelike/stats were integrated into the experience.
What a great entry. Loved this one. Very cool and engaging vibe, great art, and intriguing mystery. I managed to get all 4 endings and I never felt like the game was spoonfeeding info to me or that it was unnecessarily dificult to figure out how to get the next ending.
I'm getting a lot of H.P. Lovecraft's 'Color Out of Space' here, as well as some 'Silent Hill', which is a very effective combo.
I was also shocked to see that this was all done by one person!!! This definitely has the effort of a team-made game to me, so this is a huge achievement for the dev. Well done!
Thank you so much, I'm very happy to hear that you enjoyed the game, and congratulations on getting all 4 endings!
Lovecraft and Silent Hill are two very strong references indeed: I'm glad the inspirations come through, and that you think they work well together.
It's been a busy November haha, thank again.
I got to play your game, and it was a lot of fun! A meta experience that fits well with the theme!Magnificent video game: it's a total success
Congratulations for your job!
Wow, thank you!
Great game! I really enjoyed the art and the story. Nice work!
Thank you a lot!!
Lovely game. I would pay for a fuller version with expanded story branches and more secrets. The light RPG elements didn't detract from my experience. I initially thought it was kind of impossible to lose, but I proved myself wrong after multiple runs. I think that this is one of the best interpretations of the jam theme that I've played so far. Charming artwork and soundtrack notwithstanding. I also appreciated how accessible everything feels. I can easily picture this game as an introduction to more challenging point-and-click story-driven games. Well done!
Thank you very much! That makes me very happy to hear, because it's a project I'd like to keep working on.
Thank you for playing, and for your kind comment!
It is one of the best games in the jam. Incredibly well done.
Wow thanks!!! I'm glad you liked it this much!
soooo good!!
Thanks!
This was a really interesting game that could be expanded beyond the jam. Personally, text-based games aren't my favorite, so I am not really the best judge. I wish I could move the character myself instead of just clicking. Story was cool and I liked exploring things. Great job on the art, that part is my favorite. Good job!
Thank you very much! I hope to have the time to continue the project, I really enjoyed it.
The movement by clicking was one of the constraints to save time, and to allow me to concentrate my efforts on other subjects.
Thanks for your comment, and for playing!
this is a beautiful short game that Easly could be expanded to a turn based RPG with a bigger area
Visual 5/5
Story 5/5
Mechanics 5/5
Wow, thanks!
I'd like to push the project, or at least expand from the basic concept.
Very good entry! Especially good visuals and the story is well written, I loved the mystery and was really excited by the end. From the art I didn't first expected a horror style game, but it was really spooky! Nice job on literally everything! I finished on ending 2. Keep up doing games!
Haha thank you so much! Yes, I love mixing spooky stories with colorful graphics, creating surprises.
Thank you for playing!
Very fun and interesting story. I enjoyed it really much!
Thanks!!
I really enjoyed this game. The mystery was engaging, but the text was not overly wordy (which often puts me off narrative games). It's just so well polished too - fantastic stuff, congratulations.
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoy the experience!
Gorgeous graphics, with a good music. The story is mysterious enough and there are many choices about how to interact (or not!) with the items. Maybe I'll try to get a different ending.
You can be proud of what you achieved in such a short time. Congrats!
Thanks so much for your comment, and thanks for playing!
A quality game with good music and art that doesn't clash with the premise of the story. The storytelling was great, enough hints to figure out the mystery in good time, not too early or late. However I never found an usage for the keys and I only managed to get 2 of the 4 endings. Other than that the game was great, I have also never seen a Renpy game that isn't just a visual novel. Good job!
Thank you!
Ah yes, endings 3 and 4 are hidden away in the same place. I don't want to spill the beans just yet, but thanks so much for playing and taking the time to explore the game's world!!
Renpy is pretty great because it's so easy to learn, and I play around a bit with what you can do with it, it's a really fun tool!
VERY COOL ! Fantastic quality, love the art sm! The whole game feels really clean. The different endings also add to the feeling of hidden secrets. ⚔ 🌼 🐶
Thank you very much! Very happy to hear it!
(I tested your game, it has a great vibe, congrats!)
ayo !! tysm! apologies for the camera being pretty jank lmao, thx for playing
Great story and nice environment. I often find narrative games to be hard to disorienting but this was not the case here. Your art style made each room unique and that helped a lot with navigation. On top of that these environment were beautiful. Good job!
Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
Yours was graphically super interesting and full of good ideas!
I REALLY enjoyed your game. The art (both visual and music) was awesome, and the story was pretty good as well. I really liked sense of anxiety that the story was giving me the more I went through the game and uncovered.
Thank you a lot!
