this was so fun to play and interesting! the puzzles were tricky but i figured them out eventually. are there any games like this that anyone can recommend to me?

woah! this already looks amazing!!

okay I'm being oddly productive considering this is a game jam which is titled 'a highly unproductive game jam'

Finished the main soundtrack (I didn't try at all lol) and the audio for when the score is revealed. I also finished another bird sprite, going to go make one more for today.

this already looks adorable!

my game? a simple game where you click on various different...birds...to raise your score. The game lasts a minute. Each sprite is made up of multiple images based on the actual object/animal it is. Of course, I haven't made any of this yet. Just this first bird sprite:

My goals are to make this game 1. finished and 2. have terrible looking graphics.

Just wanted to share Michelle and Mary here!

this game was very fun! Tragic too..

Ooh! Congratulations! This game seems awesome, and I'll definitely be playing it!

woahhh this game is awesome! It seems amazing! :D

I just created a series of memories, well, my friend's, but still, and anyways, they all end in, 'We are united'. It's about her and her dog.

oh ok ty!

(1 edit)

It sadly isn't available on neither android nor IOS.

I'm wondering what happened to Reginald during the true ending. Firstly, did he just choose not to speak or was he unable to speak at all? Secondly, what happened to him? Maybe one day I'll find the answer to these questions.

Hi, just curious, but how does this tie into Cemetery Mary? As in, is this a sequel, prequel, or something else altogether?

good luck! the project seems cool!

The colors are nice, they are simple and pleasant to look at. Everything seems very easy to navigate.

Good luck! This idea is amazing and so far you've executed it well, I can't wait to see what's next!

Oh! I get it now, thank you!

Good luck, I can't wait to see the final product!

1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?

I'm Audrey. My usernames and nicknames usually consist of some variation of Dyingrat, such as Rat, Dyingrat9, and of course, Dyingrat.

2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?

No, I didn't participate in the last jam, or any jam at all. I wanted to join because creating a game sounded enjoyable, and I wouldn't have done it if I hadn't found this jam.

3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?

Some of my favorite games are Doki-Doki Literature Club, which inspired the game I'm making a lot, and Stardew Valley, which is very fun but otherwise inspired me very little.

4. Do you have experience with game development?

No, I have no experience with game development whatsoever. This is a new experience for me, and it seems exciting.

5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!

I'm very passionate about writing and reading, simple things but enjoyable nonetheless.

6. What are your goals for this game jam?

To finish the short visual novel game I am creating for this jam.
