I totally get you man, same thing happened to me, overscoped and had to compromise some things that would’ve made the game more easy for the player.

Don’t apologize, you are 100% spot on. The idea was way too big for the game jam. This was my first game jam and I guess I got carried away and other areas suffered the consequences like the bug you encountered. Really cool concept man, I just find it a tad to hard on hetting the pieces to right size. I know you have the manual and the ruler but is hard to approximate it when the ruler is not leveled with the pieces. Other than that great visuals and sfx, solid entry.

This game reminds me of the pirate part in Sly Cooper 3 (I think, not sure) The visuals were great and the controls too. My only issue was that even I think i have the placement and scale right, it says its wrong on the summary. But overall, really good!

I think the mobs need to be toned down a little and have more visual feedback when they atack you, also the bosses didn't attack, they just ran away. Those were my only issues, the game looks really good, the animations were smooth and satisfying. Great work guys.

I agree with most of the comments, the countdown timer needs to visible always to plan your path. Food should be a little bit more randomly placed. Those where some of my problems with it but overall I think yo have a good concept and foundation to build something really cool, good job.
