Hi!

You can move camera during battle to see your opponent by moving cursor close to the edge of the screen. It works so-so, but seems to work better when you hold left mouse button. The number You were wondering about is your gold that you can spend on buing your units.  Next time we will put more effort on explaining mechanics in game more in detail.

Anyway, Thanks for Your feedback!

Played, rated, commented, enjoyed :) Here's ours: https://itch.io/jam/scream-jam-2023/rate/232946

It was fun to play, it was hard but I managed to get to the end :)

I don't know if it's a bug or something with my PC, but the red message "Lighting need to be rebuild" was constantly displayed in the upper left corner.

Here's our game: https://itch.io/jam/scream-jam-2023/rate/2329464

Hope You enjoy it :)

Well, we didn't expect anyone to compare this to a comedy... (unless you mean parody bcs of how shitty it is but still). Dialogues are pretty harsh we agree, but don't forget you're dealing with a demon (who's also not in the mood :) ) To the jumpscares: well, it's our first attempt on a horror game, and we decided to make this a horror-story game, so no dying, replaying, just going straight forward with the story :)

Anyway thanks for your criticism, next time we'll be looking onto things You've mentioned.

Just rated your game, here's ours :) https://itch.io/jam/scream-jam-2023/rate/2329464

Impressive!, Definetly worth playing to an end just to get that ending :D

Great game! Actually made it to level 10 and wasn't expexting such an ending :)Music is very addictive too.

Some things to point out:

Player movement is pretty clunky, but you can get used to it.

Also after collecting those crystals one by one I learned that you can collect more than one per dive - it could be explained somewhere

Played it for like 5 minutes and not gonna lie, I enjoyed it very much ;) Will come back to play it whole later when I find some time. Amazing work!

Hello! I just rated your game! Here's ours: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-10/rate/223619

I like it, but its preety hard. Maybe if there were less trees that you collide with it would be easier. A big plus for recording your own audio - as other mentioned already - death sound being the best one :)

Cool game, love the retro music and art style! One thing I didn't like is huge mouse sensitivity and "slippery" movement.

Simple and satysfying game, amazing artwork. Also good that volume is not imidiately set to very loud and the volume settings save between sessions :)

Cool idea, I liked diving in the sea. I think it would be fun if the fish locations were random. Also the music is very chill ;)

Simple and engaging game! I liked the flamethrower animation.

Cool game! Those ghosts are pretty annoying tho :)

Good idea but I fell like it is waaay too hard. At some point sharks appear from everywhere and I'm not able to reload in time ;(

(1 edit)

Well, If I remember correctly, it happened on the second or the third level after the "time shot" was introduced. The box was in the bottom left corner. Hope it helps and good luck!

Cool game!, simple, interesting and addictive mechanic of falling. It's cool that the game has different levels and a shop (not gonna lie - when I saw the big shop button in the menu it gave me an impression of some battle pass from AAA games ;) ) - this and the simple gameplay encouraged me to play more than once :)

Only thing I can complain is the movement that is a little clumsy, also it would be great if we could move in the vertical direction too.

Very cool game! I love the dreamy climate of it, also the music gives even more drowsy feeling.

Unfortunately, I think I've found a some bugs :( On level 5 I managed to push the box outside the game view and was unable to finish that level (did it twice).

I played once more, passed that level and was pleasantly surprised that there were more mechanics waiting for me :), but when I reached the levels with the time shot I did it on a box that was supposed to be moved and it couldn't be moved anymore.

Overall, I had a lot of fun during my gameplay and would enjoy playing it again if the bugs were fixed ( I'm realy curious what the ending is ;) )

Cool concept! Smooth and addictive gameplay. I also enjoyed the music, but the sound of digging was way too loud. Too bad it's so short

Love the visuals! Only thing I miss is the option to turn down the sound

Love the game!

Idea of combining an idle game with rythm genre really speaks to me. Although it would be cool if the clicking pattern changed from time to time. Graphics are gentle, which suits the music. In case of game design and fun - it is my favourite so far, in case of game jam theme - it doesn't feel very interdimensional...

It has potential for adding more content to it - including other genres than lofi would also be nice to see... and hear :)

Like the idea of mining asteroids, but if you add more diversity of them it wouldn't be that repetitive. Some sound effects would be also appreciated.

Very cool game!

It made a good first impression with that simple (but addictive) animation of spinning galaxy. Animation of gathering resources is cool too. I liked the encounter system - more RPG idea of granting bonuses. I dunno if it was expected, but my first encounter let me choose between 2 negative options (i believe it was -x on auto click rate) and my resources started dropped significantly below zero! Besides that I got a lot of fun playing your game ;)
