How does your game fit the theme?
The player must collect crystals underwater so they can buy more oxygen, so they can go deeper and collect more crystals and so on down to the bottom of the cave.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?

This Game Is Really well built. I like the concept of the game but it was kinda hard to move around. but otherwise very good game good job

good game graphics pixelart the sounds but the controls are likely so hard or maybe the player is too big i like the physics when you take the items btw maybe we got the same inspiration from a game called"Feed the deep" in steam nice game

Developer(+1)

Yup. Feed the deep was the inspiration :>

Very cool game! I loved the graphics and the music but I believe the mevement was kinda hard! Good Work!

Cool game! I liked the simple pixel art and how smooth it was, but the movement was a bit too slugish even for a diving game in my opinon, overall nice game!

I liked the art for this game and the pixel-perfect camera was good. I thought the movement was not great and found it hard to turn around.

Funny game and dynamic music)

I liked the game, my only issue was that I would get stuck into walls and sometimes the inputs would get reversed 🫠 not sure if that's how it's supposed to be. In general, this is an awesome inspiration from Luke's game!! great job!!

Great game! Actually made it to level 10 and wasn't expexting such an ending :)Music is very addictive too.

Some things to point out:

Player movement is pretty clunky, but you can get used to it.

Also after collecting those crystals one by one I learned that you can collect more than one per dive - it could be explained somewhere

Voted! Good job =) !

Pretty cool entry, my only complaint would be that since the movement was sort of clunky and you could get stuck into walls really easily you should have made the corridors a little less narrow, otherwise good work.

Very cool game and nice idea!

Please also rate my game thanks :)

What a cool diving game! First game with a pixel perfect camera i've seen in this jam. Interesting take.

Liked the pixel art and sound music (the song might be stuck in my head for some time... thank you... :P).

I feel like the movement was a little unforgiving at some points where only one pixel was stuck on another pixel and hold me back from rotating. Maybe a little slipperiness could do the job.

Anyway, gotta love the cute little amogus-bean. Well done y'all

Developer

Let me tell you a secret: the player controls are so hard partly because of the pixel perfect camera. I had to change player movement because the player capsule was shaking very much (because of pixel perfect camera), what was really unpleasant for eye. You can see this still happening sometimes with player's "helmet". Now that I think about this, maybe it wasn't such a good compromise ._.
Anyway, thanks for feedback!

Underwater Among Us bean :)  NIce game, although you can work on the movement a little

It is indeed... a cool diving game, sometimes it was hard to manouvre to some smaller spaces but it was clear and fun the play. Love to have you in the submissions!

It was fun! Once I figured out, I was basically driving a car from a birds-eye view everything clicked.

My only gripe would have to be the rough walls which can snag the player in awkward ways. If the colliders were smoothed out, it'd be a lot easier to course-correct using the challenging control scheme.

Otherwise, everything felt like it was put together well! Nicely done!

Fun game and the pressure of almost dying from oxygen depletion is intense. One thing that was kina annoying was getting stuck on the walls when turning.

Really like the graphics/art style and audio you have. The gameplay is solid, however I think it could benefit from some quality of life features. Displaying the percentage of crystals collected and giving the player a speed boost when leveling up would go a long way to ironing out some of the (admittedly minor) issues with this game.

I should also mention I found a few bugs. The first (and I'm not sure this is a bug) is that I got to the bottom of the cave without leveling up completely and still won. I don't know if this is a bug or if you have multiple endings though. The second is that you can grab crystals through walls.

Developer

Thank you for feedback! If I decide to continue working on this project I will definitely use your ideas!
Also, could you describe more the ending bug? Are you saying that ending triggered even whithout 10th level?

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, I was level 9 when I found the cracks at the bottom of the cave, and the game let me pass anyway.

I don't remember if I had enough crystals with me at the time though to reach level 10.

Now it should be working  properly. It turns out that the trigger for the ending was too big. whoops :P
