BUG REPORT:

On high resolution monitors, making the window larger (using the full screen button on the window frame, the one next to the X button) lags the game tremendously. The dice move in slow motion, about 1/2 the speed they do in the default window size

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing! :)

thanks for playing! :) The slowmo should deactivate when you select another unit to swap to

Thanks for playing, and for leaving a comment! We’ll take a look at the mouseover info :) Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! I wondered if anyone would notice that about the mouse :) we’ll fix it for any future builds

Thanks for the feedback! I think that'll be a good area to improve on our game design, figuring out a way to give the player different challenges across multiple plays of the game

Hey nickbot, thanks for playing and leaving a comment!

Hey thank you! That's good to hear, we were going for the kind of game you can learn to master :)

Thank you! we agree on the visual feedback, we've got room to improve there. glad you had fun, thanks for playing!

Thank you! It is random, yeah. We'll look into that if we continue developing it. Maybe something along the lines of you getting to play for players of varying skill levels as a way to control difficulty? Just a thought. Thanks for playing!

I love the art style!

I loved jumping off the jumping platforms, that was really fun! I also liked how each level reacted differently to my movement, it felt a little like warioware in that way. One improvement I'd make is adding in some Coyote time, it'd go a long way to relieving some frustration and making the game more enjoyable. Also, the character design is adorable :)

I love this game! The voice acting really makes the game, it brings another character into the story in a way that almost reminds me of the narrator from Stanley Parable or Portal. The puzzles were fun and the game had a great sense of humor! This game is ready to be sold, I'm seriously impressed

Sure thing! It’d make a fun small game if you take it all the way to full release. I’ve a game similar enough to know this works, but different enough for yours to be unique, wish I could remember the name of that game

This was a fun game! I would've liked it if the flags of each nation matched the color they were on the map, that'd make it a lot easier to remember and identify them. Also, in the news articles, when a territory of a country was mentioned, it would help if the name of the country owning it was mentioned as well. I like the map, but it was hard to read on my screen. The news articles had issues with the mouse as you said, but responded really well to touch screen input.

Those were some fun puzzles! It took me a few levels to figure out what was going on, but once I got it, I enjoyed it a lot. The CRT effect was really nicely done too

This game is really really high quality, nice work! The art is awesome and the intro and UI feel really well polished. I liked playing as a defender, I always enjoy playing a character who's defending against an aggressor and there's not a lot of games out there like that

The visuals are really nice to look at. The smoke effect has a great style that's cohesive with the more glowey effects, which also look great. I really like the background as well. This is a really pretty game

This was really cute! The movement felt really good, and the art was very clean and nice to look at. I really liked the color pallette you used for the underwater area

I love the idea of adding mechanics to the same platformer level over a series of rounds. The mechanics you can add were super creative and fun as well, I really enjoyed the sense of humor this game has. My one issue with it is that I can't claim my free toaster... Please priority mail it to my address, thank you

Thank you!

Interesting game! I liked the feeling of flying around while a bunch of stuff was happening, and not needing to worry about it. The game does a good job of making the player feel like a moderator

Ah I see, I didn't notice that. Either way I love the game and the concept

Looking at this game in respect to the theme, it's a really interesting idea to play as the sound system for a game. Looking at the game itself, it's a really interesting take on a rhythm game. The sort of procedural generation of beats is very interesting. It was fun on its own when there were just trees and coins, but the dj booth with its consistent beat really pulled the whole game together and I think was very important for the overall feel of the game. I'd love to see some sort of system to interact with outside of the rhythm inputs as well as some distinction between DJ booth hits and resource gather hits. Maybe every 10 DJ booth hits you earn some sort of mana? Not sure, but I very much enjoyed the game. I'd love to see it developed to a full release.
:)

Your art is very clean, and the game systems have great feedback! It was always clear what was happening in the game the whole time I was playing. Making all danger purple, to stand out against the green background was a great call. The low mana popup and the reactive profile image were great touches as well. Nice work!

Thanks!

Hey Daynarwhal! Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for leaving a comment with your review! We really appreciate it :)

It's funny you mentioned being used to letting the game play. In testing, I kept forgetting to take control of a unit until we implemented the code that made it mandatory!
