cute!!! I had a lot of fun making my iguana haha

probably my favorite of the jam so far. super creative dice mechanic and so fun - im so impressed that this was made in such a short timespan. the timer kept the game really challenging and forced you to decide between risking the timer and playing it safe with more rolls, or just getting it done quickly and dealing with more possible attacks. its really fun. love the art and sound effects.

i enjoyed this one. nice sound effects and graphics, quite addicting. reminds me of tycoon type games id play on roblox lol

cute! though moving on a diagonal surface using the arrow keys was a little confusing for me at times.

The 3d space is very cool, and the concept is unique. Just found it a bit slow.

The art and concept are nice! The movement was not my favorite though, if you tried to jump while too close to a corner you get stuck on it.

a tutorial would be good, just say what each sprite is and what it's supposed to do. And what the die does.

I was just a bit unsure of what to do when I was playing this game. You can zoom out from board game world to the party, and can see these three other dice sitting there, but you cant seem to do anything with them? And I wasn't sure what the reason was for being able to see them and their numbers.

The map is big and there didn't seem to be a lot of enemies. The first time I tried it I didn't find any, and quit out of disinterest. My first attempt was just trying to figure out what to do: I summoned a die right on one of the red mats and thought to match the roll to the number on the mat, but that didn't do anything. Then I thought maybe the little black square above where you spawn was a hole? So I thought maybe I'd knock the die into the hole to bring it to party world or something...

There should be enemies kind of close to where the player spawns so that they know that's the objective. And I think having a screen at the start of the game explaing a bit more about what your objective is in general with the die, and explaination on how you progress would be helpful. I did find it fun to move around, he's very fast but it was fun to just glide around the room for a bit. And his little kick and slide are both charming. I only tried it again because attacking enemies was a part of the game description. I couldn't figure out how to attack and just got killed :p

A game over and restart / quit screen would be good too. You just have to x out of the game yourself if you die.

And since using your mouse in game is part of the mechanics I think a visible mouse cursor in game would be helpful.

im just not sure i know how to do this correctly :( ive edited the file as per intstructions and dragged it in but nothing ever happens when I do. the presentation is nice and im probably just stupid but i havent been able to get the event to happen.

This idea has potential! But I personally had a difficult time figuring it out, and once I did I didn't find it especially engaging.  I like the music and the art quite a bit. I like the mix of fan art and refrences to pets or friends - especially the photo of the cat. Its a very cute cat. But there's only one tell, and one thing to pay attention to, which makes it too repetative for me. Facial cues or different ways of cheating with the dice could add a bit of depth.

The main thing I noticed with this game was scale issues regarding the artwork and UI. The start menu + high score thing on the title page are too small, and should maybe be moved to the left to eliminate the dead space underneath the title. I thought at the beginning that the dice rolls vs the added points wouldn't add up and that would be how to catch the cheater - but it's about weighted dice. I couldn't read the hint on the title screen since it was so small, so I didn't figure that out until i reread the blurb about how your game fits the theme.

"The innocent / guilty" text that shows up is also too small in my opinion. You could keep it a similar size and put it over the specific person being accused if you wanted to keep it that way (originally i thought this was the case, and was confused as to why I always ended up acusing the middle character) I also think the sprites themselves could be bigger, and the table they're playing on smaller. Since figuring out which character is lying / cheating is the focus, i think they should be bigger on the screen, even if the characters themselves are just static sprites. (and they're cute so why not make them easier to see?) Like I said before having facial / body language tells could also be cool - but time is limited.

The music, art and concept are charming! keep working on game making - you all can only get better :D

polished game, was pretty fun. a little repetative but makes sense for a game jam game imo. I like the variety of sound effects. I felt like sometimes I got hit by enemies when I didn't think I would (like the ghosts would touch the outside of the bow n arrow and that would count as a hit). Also I wish that when you rolled past 21, there was some button that could just let you restart the game instead of having to go into the battle knowing you were just gonna die immediately. Or maybe just have an auto game over if you roll 21.

I had fun with it though! great work :)

i liked this! im not normally a puzzle person but this was fun and the puzzles were a good challenge level. some light bg music would be a good extra touch i think :)

i liked this! the high score method is fun. and the hints actually were helpful - like the one about being able to reach any new number in one rotation made me want to try again. The only thing that kinda stopped me from wanting to keep playing it over and over again was that i found the count down sound effect for the dice is a little grating. That's my only critique though!
