that was quite a fun game!

its rough around the edges (among other bugs that i have seen mentioned, i couldnt interact with the well in the tutorial area) but conveys the main ideas really well.

theme connection is also a bit loose i think, but if you have  a siege somehow happening in the end i guess it ok (i don't know if it does because i didnt manage to finish all objectives)

all in all, decent try at an ambitious scope!

ok i just had to stop at round 18 'coz it crashed :D

yeah, just throwing the idea out there in case you decide to expand upon this game in the future!

keep at it, good luck!

well, that was a really cool idea! and fun!

fights felt a bit too random, and certain pieces were way more op than others but i guess such chaos is hard to balance! one suggestion would be the player deciding the order of the pieces in the battlefield. I think that would add to the strategic layer.

also loved the looks, especially in the village !

thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed the trolling :D

ha, didn't know about hole.io but i checked it and yes it is the same level! its the Syntys Polygon City asset pack.

thanks for playing, glad you liked it!

pretty solid controls and fun mechanics! also, really expandable (boost, maybe some more flight/jumping physics?)

i think the storm timer is a bit unforgiving though, i didn't manage to get all the batteries.

also the drift felt a bit to "controlled" if you get my drift... hehe

great job, keep at it!

clever idea and simple good execution!

one point of feedback is that the "hold to shoot big" mechanic didn't feel really useful, its just simpler to click on the birds. so i would try to innovate in another aspect, maybe the obstacles ("holes" and "hills" come to mind).

also +1 to adding ducking as others have said.

great job, i really enjoyed, gg!

very good game, kept me going to the end for a couple of times! the "mission" screen was kinda difficult to understand at first, so i had to open/close it 3-4 times until i figured it out. i would suggest something like moving it to the side or making it a bit transparent so that the player can see the ui at the same time.

all in all great job though, i had a lot of fun and found it very charming!

edit: ah, also i had a lighthouse spirte sticking around even after i used the sea card, i read in another post something similar about a burger. well it happens to lighthouses too :P

this hits deep, daaamn...

good job!

great pixel art and music, also great sense of humor! love it!

never thought that getting 6mil was as simple as roleplaying Dr. Crococlown!

heheh, fun idea!

glad to hear, keep at it mate!

keep at it and good luck <3

naaah, it was clear that i had to "clear" the cloud but i just couldn't do it :P

maybe try a more forgiving hitbox/collider if you wanna experiment! ggs!

I am guessing you know the sound effect from somewhere ;) thanks for playing and the kind words <3

glad you had fun, thanks for playing!

they are noooot buuuuugs, they are feaaatuuuures, hehehhe!

thanks for playing <3

thank you, glad you enjoyed <3

I like your line of thinking!

thanks for playing, hope we didn't stress you toooo much :D

thanks! glad you liked it :D

yeeeaaah, instead of controls we decided to focus on the expletives, hehehe :D

thanks for playing and for the feedback!

thank you <3 yeah, this was one elusive bug, some cars are just cursed :P

thanks for playing, glad you had fun :D

this game is rough round the edges but has a lot of "soul", good job :D

not my style of game but it is really apparent that a lot of work and attention to detail was put in this one!

I have just one point of feedback, the camera felt really slow, also I wish I could just move it around with wasd.

good job!

this is really good. with enough content this could grow into a full game, the core is really solid.

good job!

the whole mechanic with buying hearts and time was a veeery interesting idea!

and the game was charming and simple (also no bugs)!

having a few more platforms and a bit bigger level would allow for a little more play with movement.

also, as much as i tried i didn't manage to hit the target on the clouds head without being hit. that being said that may be my own skill issue :P

good job!

very solid game! Think i met zero bugs! but i did meet beetles and that was a real fun twist, good job :D

edited my original comment with our game link! will try yours out soon, tyty!

Hey everyone, over the next two weeks I'm gonna try to play and rate as many submissions as I can!

For now I'm sorting games by karma rating to help the devs that do a lot of commenting/rating.

However, it would really help if you guys dropped your games here with a few words, as 1.5k games is a looooot!

So let's all increase our Karma together :D

btw our submission: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2964732

thank you for playing and the kind words <3

thank you for the kind words!

there are definitely bugs and the game needs a lot of polishing (you made no mistakes, this happens).

we'll keep working on it if people like it :D

maaaaan... this is some high quality work! graphics were 10/10. attention to detail was mesmerising (details like picking the flower and it goes on your hood, the frog too :D) also the dialogues were great, the fisherman saying ignorance is bliss is *chef's kiss*!

could use a minimap although after going through the areas a couple of times i didn't really need it.

i wish i had more feedback for you but you are making it difficult! great job!

thank you for playing  and for the feedback :D

very cozy! i enjoyed the minigames though i did die to those damn birds three times (my skill issue :P)!

the race part still needs a lot of work but that is understandable for a week of development.

good job!

very very fun! loved all the attacks and the randomness of them (except the self-destruct one, feels kinda unfair to die when trying out your abilities). also the sprites are great!

one small piece of feedback i have is that sometimes the movement keys overlapped with attack keys (i had "o" for movement and also for an attack, only movement worked)

great job!

genius game design! nuff said! Great submission, gj!

great try! love the cute graphics :D

in terms of innovation, i'd love to see the vamp survivors formula have your own twist.

that being said, good job on the implementation, really solid for a week!

GG

funniest 3 mins of gaming in my life! great job guys!
