I like the art style and interpretation of the theme. The whole drawing attention/action limit is pretty interesting. I was a bit confused by combat, and the second boss battle seemed very difficult. I crashed a few times but it was a cool game overall. As others have said, the mechanic of being able to collect resources to get new allies is great as well.

Decent concept but i was able to just survive for a minute without doing anything, and then was able to survive infinitely by just holding my fruit outside of the fridge lol. I think with a little polish and leaning fully into the schizoid shit in your fridge though could make for a funny game tho. could expand it beyond just storm stuff after the jam.
Hugely impressive for a week. Good concept and mechanical interpretation of the theme. There were a couple of rough edges like NPCs wandering into places they couldn't get out of or some weird jank from sprinting, but overall was a fun and surprisingly polished game for a week. The main music track was driving me insane though. I would have liked to see how many tiles the storm was going to hit once it started though so i could properly plan out my escape. If you were to expand the game out, i think other citybuilder/management game staples like being able to assign your workers to different stations would go along way. It sounds cool to have my guys desperately grind out a resource i need during the storm, and to have to make those kinds of decisions on a tight deadline.
Fun game and good interpretation of the theme. I ran into a bug where i had one rat left who wouldn't attack, and my cats wouldn't attack him either, so i was softlocked. Other than that though very good. I liked setting myself up by prepping resource piles and multitasking to smith or grind while my furnaces where cooking. It took me a few attempts to get the hang of it, but again, i enjoyed it alot.
A vampire survivors like where the upgrades negatively effect you is a very interesting concept worth expanding on. The asylum theme as well, maybe in a way different from most survivor games, you could start to break out of the asylum and the level would get bigger. There's a lot of ways you could take this.
Hey nice game. I never played the original cubethon, but I think if this game was a little more forgiving it could be a lot of fun. The cube moves insanely fast, and i would have liked some walls on the sides of the stage at least at the start to prevent myself from just shooting off into oblivion. I also think the game would have benefitted from a Thumper esque level transition where rather that hitting the next level button, there is a long stretch of emptiness and the level number is shown on screen. There's definitely alot you could do with the core concept.
Cool game. The changing music based on the customers is a pretty cool idea, but the thing i like most is honestly the shop. Its cool to have a rhythm game where you can modify your rewards/difficulty, and having to adjust to meet your customer daily base is pretty interesting. I had a bit of a hard time understanding why i could or couldn't buy some items though. Could be a nice game for sure if expanded out, maybe with different rhythm challenges or something else to shake it up.

You really nailed the PSX graphics! I had a great time playing this game and think the atmosphere you created was amazing. My one critique would be that I wasn't really sure where the storm of the game was, and would have liked to seen it incorporated into the gameplay in some way. Overall, great job!
The game was pretty interesting, moving the torch is an interesting mechanic that could be great with a little more development. My biggest complaint would be that lack of tutorialization, as I had no idea sort of what was going on for a little while there. The character controller was also a little stiff, and maybe could have benefitted from a little more time. Overall, good job!
The art was good, and I liked the core gameplay loop. My main pieces of feedback are that the respeccing in battle was a bit tedious, especially navigating through the menus in time to prepare for the battle right away. It could be nice if you implemented a "start battle" button, to allow you to prepare for the enemies you are about to fight. I also got stuck on the beetle king prompt and couldn't proceed. Overall, good job on submitting a game for the jam, and this one was fun to play!
