Loved how you used the theme! The art is stunning, the controls are responsive, and the voiceover is a pretty nice touch.

I had fun while I lasted. Couldn't get past the second boss, haha. Kept running out of ammo, then I focused too much on getting more weapons and lost anyway. After that, I went back to running out of ammo ^^'

Anyway, it's an incredible submission. Great work, guys! :D

The waves get destroyed when colliding with the rocks, so it's a good idea to stay close to them.

There's no dash. But when the boss reaches a certain HP, it drops three eggs. If they hatch, they heal the boss. If you destroy them, they heal you.

The initial idea was losing HP when out of the circle, but we thought it wouldn't play well with other aspects of the game. For instance, collecting the "?" boxes. So we changed it to being hard to see instead. We realize now that it should've been darker to have an impact. So, thanks for your comment and suggestion! We'll gather all feedback and reevaluate the mechanics!

Looking at the screenshots, I thought I would miss those visually appealing graphics. But playing it, I thought they were so cool and creative! I also loved the comedy in the stories, and I didn't miss the graphics at all. It felt like I was reading a book. And it was pleasantly surprising how many things you managed to add to the game, apart from the core gameplay: story, stats, shop, and letting the player choose what to do. There was one situation, I believe it was when rocks were going to fall, that I picked the funny answer. Then had to dodge a bunch of letters, and I was like, "Oh no, no, no! I take it back, I want the cave!" Hahaha. Anyway, I had a lot of fun playing it. Thanks for making it!
