I don't know if this is intentionnal, but the paper slides automatically to the left when I pick it, so it's kinda hard to focus on the name/element. Else, I really liked the artstyle and the mood of picking souls for a living. Good one!

Sorry man, even though I liked the visuals and the tone that was set up, I eventually got stuck when I had to search for firewood. I assume you have to find it near the green tree on the right of the entrance, but there was no prompt.

I really like how you used the small amount of game mechanics you introduce so inventively! I like the artstyle, and I think new levels with new mechanics would be great. Although I think the timer may be unnecessary, it forced me to collect all the coins first and then the key.

The camera made me a bit dizzy and the game was a bit too repetitive, but overall it's a pretty nice game.

I had to switch my keyboard to QWERTY to play correctly, and I didn't understand that I had to shoot the boss' legs and miniguns at first. Some guards don't seem to navigate the area well until you shoot them. I think more feedback on the gun would be great, too.

Nonetheless, very cool idea! I liked the music, and it fit well with the artstyle of the game. I liked it.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you! We appreciate it.

I've never seen this concept in a game, ever! The artstyle is really good, and while the controls were a bit weird at the start, you get used to them quickly. Nice game!

Hey, thank you for your review and the compliments!

Both you and RUS are complaining about the movement so I will surely take a look at it.

Our tester Bouzinho also complained about the SFX, sadly I couldn't tweak it much since the sound on my PC is broken...(bad timing...) but once it's repaired I'll change it a bit to make it less annoying. And you're also right about the music.

BTW I will probably take a look at your game once my PC is fixed, I love rythm games and yours looks fun!

Hey, thanks for the review! We appreciate the fact you took the time to play our game, out of the hundreds that are parts of the Jam.

We put a reset button (bound to R) in case the player would get stuck on geometry, because of the type of platformer we created, the player getting stuck is eventually going to get stuck.

As for the music, you're completely right! We didn't take much time to think about it, and thus our game suffers a bit from it. Though none of us in the team has experience composing, free ambient music might help.

I think we could take a look at the controls and change them to make them more precise.

OK, thanks for the quick reply!

Hi, we uploaded our game to itch.io, but are adding the source code, assets, etc. as a downloadable file on the main page as a .zip file. Is that the correct way to do it? Will we be penalized or banned if we can't find a solution at the end of the jam?

Thanks in advance.
