Sorry man, even though I liked the visuals and the tone that was set up, I eventually got stuck when I had to search for firewood. I assume you have to find it near the green tree on the right of the entrance, but there was no prompt.

Developer

sorry to hear that you got stuck. I was always asking myself about the difficulties of the enigma, that's not an easy task. Oh and there's a note in the kitchen that could have helped you ;)

"When half way through the journey of our life I found that I was in a gloomy wood, because the path which led aright was lost."

Love the start in the full darkness - it was mysterious and intriguing. The game feels nice to play and i would like to know the rest of story.

Developer

Thank you Arseny for your feedback, you'll definitely see it, just had it to your collection ;) it's coming soon. Oh and you'll understand more the references when it will be released!

Nice and cosy game! Now I want to know what happened!

[SPOILERS]

I had one small bug after I "traveled" in time and tried to open the lock door.  The kid spoke to me about the book instead of the door triggering the lock... I moved a little to the side and it functioned normally.

[END SPOILERS]

Keep up developing your game!

Great work!

Developer(+1)

You'll see very soon ;). I see the bug your talking about, it's already fixed in dev but I'm waiting to finish story before releasing it. I will add new mechanics too that are essentials if I want to finish this game like I wanted (with multiple endings)

Hi StefGrizzly,

I recognize the assets you used, alone they are a little dull but the warm lighting you added really changed up the mood and atmosphere! This really shows how important lighting is. I loved the pixel rain you added, I am such a fan! The story is great, I like how it is about family love and not just love between a couple. For the life of me, I could not figure out the code for the axe. Where was the clue?

There were a few minor bugs that I found like I could walk through the door just south of the master bedroom. And assets disappearing on the exterior of the building if you walked into a certain location. But nothing really disruptive to the gameplay.

Gonna be adding this to my collection! I hope you continue to further develop this.

Thanks,

Christine (Aluvea)

Developer

Thx Aluvea for your feedback. For the clue you should see the road closer ;) . I will clearly continue it and finish it.

Wow, really liked the atmosphere and aesthetics! Did you make the art? Really amazing. The music is perfect for the your game's tone, good job!

One thing I'd point out is to avoid invisible walls, it's really annoying and breaks the gameplay...

Otherwise I had a blast playing! When I saw I could leave the house was such a great felling. You should keep working on it, your take on the theme was very creative and original!

Developer

Thank you to have played my game and for your feedback! For the art, it's mainly from Kenney assets, I did the characters and their animations and some interactable objects. The lightning is adding a lot with the aesthetics, if you try the game without it, it's clearly not the same. By the way, it makes me think that I should add a credit section for that.  I'll remove the invisible walls in a next release also
