Thanks! Yeah I'm def still trying to look for that good blend of synth-y stuff and orchestral writing! Still a long journey.

The Switch in The Owl Encounter was so fun haha and Machine Monster gave me a bit of the vibe of DKC2 Final Boss (?). So far great work, my only criticism would be to work towards a slightly better library/sample election and programming so the writing can shine a bit more.

Good work! Def the Overture is the strongest one for me. I like the blend of synthetic and orchestral timbres a lot! The writing was very good, my only two nit picks are that maybe raise the volume a bit of the flutes (or lower the rest) when they carry the melody. Since you are a classical musician think of it as the players adjusting the dynamics to blend better with the lead instrument of the moment (or a conductor telling them to keep it down lol).  Ahh and my other super obnoxious comment would be that seeing the entire session spoils the surprises when the dynamics and instrumentation change. Over all great work, love when classical musicians starts getting into DAWs and synths!

Ok this was very cool, I was starting to get kinda of a western vibe and then boom heavy gtrs. Loved it.  As a guitar player my only advice would be to simulate a double tracking for the riffs and hard pan them then leave the lead in center.  I really enjoyed the last song as well, very good work!

This is a very immersive soundtrack! Almost minimal but it totally fits with an horror/action game genre despite not having the adrenaline you will expect for the "action" part I think it can bring a very nice balance when shooting stuff lol. Solid prod, sound choices and compo!

I really really like the smaller ensemble/chamber orchestra vibe since it makes it a bit more organic and easier to hear the details of the instruments which adds character. Close Your Eyes is my absolute fave since it has that mixolydian flavour but the rest of the soundtrack it's very solid! Very good job!

I really reallllly enjoy how it slowly develops and then the dynamics get to FFF for a super emotional moment and come back down again, It's really a good payoff .  My only two pieces of advice will be to bring a bit to the front the flute in the beginning since (I think) it carries the weight of the melody when the orchestra is quiet and also to lower the vol of the piano comp/counter-melodies when the orchestra is starting to take over.

I really like the darker vibes of this OST, probably my fave is Amidst! It also integrates well the idea of dark/light altho I was expecting more extreme changes. It's also very cool that you think of all the looping points and how the music will be implemented with the mechanics of the game. Overall a very solid OST!

Thanks for the comment and giving it a listen! Ship Me To The Moon might be my fave, the idea behind it was using a pitched and slowed down version of the Main Theme and then just adding the solo violins as a lead. I wanted to try something like this since watching Dunkirk where they use a veeeery slooooow arrangement of Elgar's Nimrod.

Time To Go Home is my "anime ending" piece haha is just the basic theme melody and harmony. When being this minimal I try to at least make the basic sounds more interesting and that more often than not involves making them a bit more lo-fi/eerie/distorted or re-synthesize them. Usually that's the answer when working with libraries or simple sounds.

Thanks again for the comment! I'm glad you enjoyed my work!

Ouu will check bugsnax! About the mixing on the last track I'm positive it's not clipping unless there was weird transcoding issue with the mp3s, what may be happening is the lofi/distortion plugins are not translating that well to other playback systems.

Thanks a lot for listening and the comment! Cat Burglar has a special place in my heart because it's a bit more prog rock oriented haha

Thanks!

Thanks for the comment and kind words! No haha I think I've never listened to Scott Buckley (at least not in an active way). And yeah I was trying to be a bit more experimental and free for this Jam since I don't often get the chance when working on commercial projects.
