Thanks! Yeah I'm def still trying to look for that good blend of synth-y stuff and orchestral writing! Still a long journey.

Good work! Def the Overture is the strongest one for me. I like the blend of synthetic and orchestral timbres a lot! The writing was very good, my only two nit picks are that maybe raise the volume a bit of the flutes (or lower the rest) when they carry the melody. Since you are a classical musician think of it as the players adjusting the dynamics to blend better with the lead instrument of the moment (or a conductor telling them to keep it down lol). Ahh and my other super obnoxious comment would be that seeing the entire session spoils the surprises when the dynamics and instrumentation change. Over all great work, love when classical musicians starts getting into DAWs and synths!
I really really like the smaller ensemble/chamber orchestra vibe since it makes it a bit more organic and easier to hear the details of the instruments which adds character. Close Your Eyes is my absolute fave since it has that mixolydian flavour but the rest of the soundtrack it's very solid! Very good job!
I really reallllly enjoy how it slowly develops and then the dynamics get to FFF for a super emotional moment and come back down again, It's really a good payoff . My only two pieces of advice will be to bring a bit to the front the flute in the beginning since (I think) it carries the weight of the melody when the orchestra is quiet and also to lower the vol of the piano comp/counter-melodies when the orchestra is starting to take over.
I really like the darker vibes of this OST, probably my fave is Amidst! It also integrates well the idea of dark/light altho I was expecting more extreme changes. It's also very cool that you think of all the looping points and how the music will be implemented with the mechanics of the game. Overall a very solid OST!
Thanks for the comment and giving it a listen! Ship Me To The Moon might be my fave, the idea behind it was using a pitched and slowed down version of the Main Theme and then just adding the solo violins as a lead. I wanted to try something like this since watching Dunkirk where they use a veeeery slooooow arrangement of Elgar's Nimrod.
Time To Go Home is my "anime ending" piece haha is just the basic theme melody and harmony. When being this minimal I try to at least make the basic sounds more interesting and that more often than not involves making them a bit more lo-fi/eerie/distorted or re-synthesize them. Usually that's the answer when working with libraries or simple sounds.
Thanks again for the comment! I'm glad you enjoyed my work!
