damn respect

Pretty fun, art and vfx are all really great. Game is a little hard on the later levels.

Fun game, liked the mechanic of switching between the neuro's combined with Vedal transformations. Visually looks amazing!

Art is really good. Other than pressing space on the code screen was not sure what the interaction is with spend time with neuro or stream, maybe I am just dumb. Cute game.

Art is great, felt pretty polished. Curious what engine you used. Platforming felt a little slidey. 

Pretty cool game. Like the sand mechanic and art. Death restart location is a bit brutal. Takes a while to run back to the mines.

I am using chrome on my macbook. I do remember reading some about godot not supporting mac on web idk. I'll play it later on my pc

Intro was super cool, lot of polish for a jam game. All the art and sounds effects are really cool.

Game is sick. Really cool art and music. A little confusing on what do at first but was able to figure it out.

I'd love to port it to switch one of these days. I made the game in unity so would probably go through nintendo's developer program for unity.

Yeah that's not a bad idea. The king unit can also keep summoning allies to battle assuming they have enough mana. Probably a good idea to put a cap on it. I think if I were to add a cat unit I might move those skills under a summoner unit class. Or random summoning might be interesting.

The game is great! I really like your art style, the characters are all very cute and charming. I'm curious what technique you used to create the lighting effects, it looks awesome! Keep up the good work dude.

If you previously had a different version of the game installed then  your old save will not carry over unfortunately. The 1.1 and 1.2 version added some extra data to the save files that would break the old serialization.
If your older save was already on 1.2, I'll look into it then. Do you know when you first played the game?

Hey thanks for checking it out. Yeah that makes sense, I am hoping to have a better tutorial system out in the next few days. I'm also planning on tweaking the first battle to make it a little easier.

The auto-restart is interesting, the Commoner unit in the first battle is on your team so you won't "lose" and be prompted to restart until all units on your team are destroyed. It might be unintuitive then that they are also a unit you can move around and use.

Not sure if you played the 1.1 version but there is a difficulty option in Settings that might help.

After many late nights of grumbling at Unity build times and contemplating if I will ever finish anything, I am very happy and a little stressed to present my first released game, Caïssa.

Caïssa is a small tactical RPG with light rogue and chess like elements. Travel across the kingdom of Light, battling your way through forces of mysterious foes while learning the secrets of your kingdoms past. Along the way recruit new allies to aid you in battle and learn new abilities to change the way you take on each challenge.
