You can play the HTML5 version of my game on my site: https://www.havana24.net/?pag=games&sub=leap_the_synth

Another fellow Godot developer here! :D
My best score is 8300! Am I the only one who skips checking the current color and focuses on the next one to memorize the sequence?
It's definitely a different kind of game from the others. I really appreciate the effort you put into the story, and the gameplay is simple but quickly gets addictive as you chase a higher score. Great game!

My best score is 578 - I'm not great at 3D shooters! XD
The visuals are really nice, and I love the satisfying feel when shooting. It's cool that we both use the 'POW' balloon effect! I really enjoyed the game, especially the wave system and the mechanic where you can shoot the ground to make a huge jump!

The game fits the theme perfectly, and the mechanic of recalling the bullet after shooting is both clever and original - congrats! :)
However, I noticed a slight issue with the movement. It feels a bit too slow, and it's difficult to turn quickly enough to aim and shoot effectively. This might be a game issue or perhaps it's just my PC running slowly.

Thank you! :)

It reminds me of Everhood in terms of gameplay and art! Did you draw inspiration from it? The presentation is fantastic, and the sprites look great! As others mentioned, the timing is quite challenging, but it's a solid start for a prototype!

This is how an in-game tutorial should be done! I really like the mechanics and the overall mood, though the movement feels a bit slow, even when using the dash. Great job!

Level 5 feels impossible, ouch! I really like the minimal style, unique text effects, and the story. The controls are a bit tight and tricky to master, but that might be intentional! The music when a message pops up just makes me happy for some reason. :D

Super fun and polished! The metal/rock background music was awesome and really got me pumped. Great job on this entry!

Sadly, the game is unplayable, which is a shame because the GIF looks awesome!

Made it to wave 5 - cool game! It's like Breakout meets tennis with zombies! 😄
I figured out how to shoot the tennis ball by swiping the mouse from bottom to top to gain speed, but it’s not super clear. Adding a quick in-game GIF on the first level, showing the mouse movement needed to hit the ball, would really help. Nice entry!

Cool original idea to use traps instead of directly shooting enemies.
The character’s camera controls could use some tweaks, and the switch to the trap’s POV can be a bit disorienting. Keep up the great work! :)

Nice music and art! The concept is unique, especially for a game jam. It's unfortunate the game couldn't fully come together!

Sorry for that! The game is playable on my site havana24.net

Hey, thank you very much! :D

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! :)

That's great, congrats!! Was it difficult?

Thanks for playing! When the bar is full yellow you can't inhale anymore (since you are full of breath) and you are at you maximum energy to fly! :)

Got it, thanks! So for now use Chrome and let me know what you think, thank you! :)

Do you mean in the title screen? You need to click on the 1st level button in the bottom left. Can you tell me if it works? Thanks! :)

thanks! I'm glad you like it! :)

sorry but you need to play it with a mouse, I said it right at the start. :)

Maybe you cound use particles to create the flame. in this way you can make it react to the wind direction.
I made 24 as my top score!

Thanks for finishing the game. really appreciated! :D

I always start with a sketch on paper, then scan it and draw on top of it with pixel art. I would like to start a series of video where I show every step for each game I made. We will see! :)
