Very good game and well within the theme.

The only thing is that the controls are a little strange. The mouse simply rotating the character in the direction of movement is very bad (I even implemented it like this in my game, but after testing I gave up). It would be more interesting if there was a crosshair that the mouse moved, so the player looked at it. It would also be better if the directional pads or keys a and w were strafe left and strafe right, since the aim is on the mouse.

The character could also move a little faster, but we know that these balances depend on gameplay testing and no one has much time for that in a jam.

The very good music generates a feeling of action and urgency that matches the game.

Congratulations on the work!

Thanks for playing and detailed feedback! Unfortunally I don't test game with other peoples, so don't notice such flaw in controls, but will change it for future. About speed, yes, there should be balance between character, enemies and bullet speed, maybe will tune that.
Thanks again for feedback!

Cool concept, but I struggled with the controls. It was hard to turn and move around.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yes, will move to another controls, pity that know it too late

Really cool concept.
I'm not a fan of this control scheme.
Otherwise it was fun experience, and the mechanics worked very well.
Great game.

I liked how the bullets were reloaded into the gun. It fits the theme perfectly. Player movement speed felt a bit slow and controls were little bit confusing.

The game fits the theme perfectly, and the mechanic of recalling the bullet after shooting is both clever and original - congrats! :)
However, I noticed a slight issue with the movement. It feels a bit too slow, and it's difficult to turn quickly enough to aim and shoot effectively. This might be a game issue or perhaps it's just my PC running slowly.

Developer

Thanks for playing and feedback! Tested on old laptop and it was good. So probably it's my fault with controls, you rotate with side arrows or horizontal mouse movement, so issue can be there or in wrong game settings for mouse sensitivity.

IDK why the game is soo slow on my pc but if the game is more faster, that a good project👀

Very original the use the bullet.

Developer

Thanks for playing and feedback. Tested on old laptop, was good, maybe it's control issues.

Okay 'Anamoly' 'Inverse' Bullet - Did you perhaps see tenet anytime before the game jam? 👀😂 hahaha anyways, the bullet inverse is obviously the highlight of the game &  works well to 'double' shoot the enemies so you strategically sort of walk around & stuff. The controls are a bit off but I got adjusted to them quickly and the mouse sensitivity was alright too (because I finally got to use the high DPI settings of my mouse lmao) Was very fun to play, some game juice would have gone a long way. Great submission man! I like what you did with the game name as well (my suspicious that there are elements of tenet are stronger now hahah)

Thanks for playing and feedback! Glad you like it!
Yeah, watched TENET after it was out and had the idea to play the jam theme in some unusual way. At first I thought of inverting the player, but I couldn't figure out how to do it nicely, then I thought of a bullet. Glad you caught the double shot idea, as to me it's a separate fun to shoot powerful enemies and return the bullet immediately after hitting, doing damage again. Probably should have made one of them have lives for a double shot for more effect. While making and testing got used to the controls, but there are too many complaints about them, yeah.

I love TENET too so awesome to see a game inspired by the movie! I think the bullet inverse turned out better than player inverse but thats me saying without knowing the player inverse game idea 😅 Yes, that was really fun, I also didn't have to worry about 'collecting' my bullet or such if i missed or something cause power of the anamoly! It still turned out really good so good work once again man! And also thanks for playing my game & giving feedback! I have taken note of the points :D

The bullet recall idea was awesome but I spent most of my time struggling with the controls. Felt a bit disappointed that they limited my ability to play around with the bullet mechanic since I could barely turn the character to aim.

Where you going for tank controls like in old Resident Evil games? That would have worked but the enemies move too fast and you turn too slow.

Control issues aside, this was a very interesting entry and so far the coolest use of the one shot theme I’ve seen

Developer

Thanks for playing and response! Definitely will redo controls for future games, and maybe in updates for this )

Good idea! But controlling the character was a bit difficult.

Developer

Thanks. Yes control will update in future games.

Interesting concept, but the mouse movement left more to be desired. I felt like I had to throw my mouse around to even remotely move the character a bit. Felt like it needed the ability to just have the player point at the mouse cursor.

Developer

Thanks for feedback. Will improve controls.
