How does your game relate to the theme?
I thought of a bow and arrow, but you only have one arrow to complete the missions. If you make a mistake, it can be crucial, even though you can retrieve your arrow from the ground. It will cause you to lose time, introducing the scoring system where you must finish the game as quickly as possible. Note: HYPlay doesn't support GameMaker, and even after trying other methods, I couldn't get it to work.

Shooting an arrow and having to retrieve it could lead to interesting gameplay ideas, especially if you emphasize movement and dodging mechanics.
Good job putting together a playable proof of concept in the short span of development
The concept in itself is good and I had a lot of fun with it (plus I loved the levels with a reduced field of view !) ; but the lack of content after explaining the basics is so disappointing !
I really hope you'll come around and finish this game because it was really fun !

The game in itself is good.
I love the transitions btw the levels and the script is spooky.
This is a great idea for the theme! There are probably a lot of fun gameplay scenarios you could come up with that involve having to retrieve your arrow after shooting it. It's a shame you couldn't get Hyplay working, but I hope you keep working on this game. I think it's a decent starting point for something interesting.
Drawing the bow feels quite satisfying.
I really love the effect that you have on the lighting in the dark level (how it's moving/shimmering a bit)- how did you achieve that?
Would have been cool to see what you would have created with some more time/effort!
I couldn't pass the level that comes after the one with the training doll was shooting eggs at me, it get's hit and that's it no movement or anything, but I realized that the answer may be in the hidden part of UI becase your game was larger than my browser window and had to press F11 to turn into full screen and see the instructions at the bottom.
It has a good concept and sound effects, you could have made more levels with the shooting and moving enemies would have been a ton better, please try to complete it and add make a castle and objectives within it and maybe a melee weapon like a dagger which you can use for stealth kills which will go very well with the game style.
Great work with the tutorials...I was waiting for the levels lol; Looking forward to playing the game once its complete.
This is how an in-game tutorial should be done! I really like the mechanics and the overall mood, though the movement feels a bit slow, even when using the dash. Great job!
Great vibe of the game tbh, well done on the artwork :) I was confused when the statue went away and then I was like okay what to do now, some players have mentioned that it was too short so maybe that was it? the movement is slow but by pressing space it does speed it up a bit (you may have missed it in the controls description)
Update: after seeing the screenshot of the 'dark + flashlight' one. I went back to play the game and it turns out that was a bug in the 'lets make it a bit harder screen'. Like the quick fast snappy shift to new levels, the variety is good too! Would have loved to play the full version to see what direction this would have gone in!
A delicious game, the sound effect and the mysterious feel were very interesting, it makes you want to play this game, I think it was too short and doesn't really match the "Arcade" theme, this more frenetic thing, in general a good concept I liked it. If you could rate my game I would be very happy too
I like the concept of a single arrow you have to fetch. If this game was more complete, it could be pretty fun. I'd ramp up movement speed and give more objectives to make this really stand out.
Good attempt, but left more to be desired. The level where the guy runs away from you was difficult in timing the shot.
GameMaker supports making URL requests though, so you can get it to work! I made my game in GameMaker Studio and was able to implement Hyplay's whole kit.
