This was COMPO entry for the ludume dare 56. The whole game was made by me.

48 hours

yes

It's not an asset, it's unity animator + rigidbody 2d

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to upload a version where I've fixed the cooldown bug with the mask, added a new mask, and made the previous parts of the masks save, after the jam voting is over.

Thank you for playing! Im glad you like the reload mechanic. About the final boss, it was made at the end of the jam time, so I only had to add 2 states. But I agree that more states would make it better.

A very, very nice visual style that, together with the horror elements, creates a sense of unease. Good idea with the Game Boy. Also, thanks for fixing some bugs, I was playing the day before and when I approached the mirror the game didn't end and my screen rotated 45 degrees on the front axis, it was a bit creepy even unplanned.

That's exactly what I meant!

Guys, you've made a good game! it's a bad shame you didn't have time to release the web version, I don't think anyone will be opposed to you releasing the web build of the same version, just leave the original file.

I'm not really into puzzles, but your game is like a Portal. So when I saw the purple fruit at the end, I was scared of what puzzles would come next, good thing it was the end. I enjoyed solving the puzzles in it!

I like that your game has two endings! More levels could have been added, for example where there are fewer aliens.

Very good idea, only the sound of the break is not very clear, it would be better if something happened to the screen of the arcade machine, so the fact of the break would be more obvious. But the game looks good!

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks for the review! I wanted to add a mask that allows you to recharge on the go. And it looks like I put a minimum value on recharge so the buff doesn't affect it much, thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the feedback, there are definitely things that need tweaking. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the detailed review!

Thanks for playing!

Hey, it's good to see you from the last jam. Glad your skills have improved and you're not giving up!

I like how you showing the history of your world by using the background, it really looks good, especially in combination with your music. I'll be honest the last scene touched me a bit. Good job!

Thanks for playing! I'll release a more balanced and refined version after the end of the jam.

Thanks for the playing! I wanted to add this type of upgrade, but time was limited.

It's a great game! The idea with the wagons is very interesting. The music, graphics, gameplay and effects are all very well done. There's simply nothing to complain about. Well done!

Thanks for the feedback. Balance is hard for me, I really want to release a more playable version.

Thank you for the feedback! Unfortunately I didn't have time to add all the necessary graphics. But I'm glad you had fun!

Thanks for your feedback! I think you didn't fully understand the game mechanics (which the game didn't mention, so that's my fault). Enemies have 2 types of health. Pistols deal damage to the physical type. When the physical health goes down to zero, the spiritual health starts to get used up, BUT it also adds a WOUND (blue circle), slashing it will kill the enemy instantly,  pistols will lower the spiritual health for a longer time.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback! I thought about adding more abilities, but time was limited.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll add more details after the jam is over!

I agree with the other reviewer, the bugs are too persistent. But the concept and visuals are very good!

Hi, thanks for the feedback! I don't think it's worth getting good at this version of the game yet, I added the big guy 15 minutes before the deadline, so he's a bit UNBALANCED, so the problem isn't your skill. If anyone can overpower this guy, let me know.

Really good puzzle game, great implementation of limitations, nice visuals!

Very good idea of implementing the limitation!

Good game! I like the support units that appeared after the upgrade.

It wasn't easy, but I got through it!

Nice visual style! But at first I was confused by the walls and abysses because of the perspective. Also your UI is great, the game looks like a complete and finished product, definitely one of the best games of this jam! The only thing I couldn't figure out was what the hold on the blue button does.

Haha, it was the only thing I could do well in this project). Thanks for playing and commenting!

This game made me think about world order and reminded me of the story of Soviet lieutenant Stanislav Petrov, who found himself in a similar situation. I'm glad you brought it up.

Hi, can I add the WebGl build if I didn't make it in time?

Thanks for playing!
