Very clever concept! Had a lot of fun going through procedurally generated dungeons!
Very good shifting labyrinths to EXPLORE! :D
It takes me a while to understand that what you called "cell" in the description is a 7x7 region of the map. I encourage you to change the description to better describe how the game works!
But maybe you were aiming to create a cryptic experience, where the player needs to EXPLORE to find out how the mechanics work. In this case, you can still make a more detailed explanation preceding it with a spoiler working.
Overall very good job!!
I escape from the map, and get stuck with generation (thanks for regenerate button)
but btw nice game mechanics !
And I really like the music ! Well play
Thanks for you nice comment !
we didn't have time to really make sure that there were no "getting stuck issues" so we couldn't fix them :D
Really clever mechanics. It took me a while to understand the level-shifting mechanic but when I did it was pretty fun! I also liked the general atmosphere and story.
I wish there was an indicator to where the keys might be though. It often felt like I was going in circles and having no idea where I should be headed because you can't see much with the zoomed in camera. I also wasn't a huge fan of the level shift triggering randomly as you walk around, it felt frustrating to know where a tile is and have it go somewhere else as soon as you look away. Other than that, great game!
Cool shifting mechanics, much better approach to the use of the tileset than me! Lighting is also on point. With a bit more story it'd remind me of games like Endoparasitic, without the movement quirk of course
Nice idea! It takes some times to understand that the maze "regenerates" like in the movie the cube. it would be nice if there would be some clue to understand the logic behind. It looks like every 2 or 3 turns the same wall removes.
Whoa, this is a gem! As someone who is into cubing, this game tingled all the right areas in my brain and I am hungry for more!

We're glad you like our concept. And if I may say so, this is just the beginning... We plan to improve this version by implementing a whole host of new features and fixing a multitude of bugs to make the experience far more interesting, understandable and enjoyable! We hope you'll enjoy these next versions!
Cool game, the gameplay is pretty abstract for my monke brain but cool concept.
Thanks a lot for your comment!
Indeed, there are a number of game & level design elements missing, which should have made the dungeon and exploration much more lively, understandable and interesting. This will be implemented in a future version, which I invite you to come and test with the next updates!
Cool concept!

Cool idea but hard to understand the mechanics

Well I sure did some exploring, though it lacked something, I like the backroom vibe and the music gave it a nice mood overall!

Great job! I don't know if it was intentional but you could sometimes just leave the area and go out into nothingness. I also really loved the voice acting at the start and was just wondering if that was AI generated? It was quiet similar to my games introduction :)
It's not intentional. For some reason it works fine in the editor but when we take a webgl build it just doesn't spawn the borders in.
If you want to see the borders just regenerate the level after the level starts
Great job on creating procedurally generated dungeons!

Our very talented developers managed to get this system up and running very quickly, allowing us to move ahead with the rest of the prototype with ease. I pass on your support to them!
