I rated this a 5 for presentation! Love the art style and music. This reminds me of Ghost Trick in a good way, and you could definitely do a lot with the "ghost home owner"/Beetlejuice theme in a full game. Great work on this one!
Beautiful art! With some expansion on its gameplay, I can see this being a very good game, good work!
Solid proof-of-concept with a very beautiful retro style. Could easily see this being fleshed out with new homebuyers that have particular phobias you need to exploit to get them out (increasing the scare challenge). Hope you keep fleshing it out! Good job :)
I love the art style and presentation. It is really polished. I would however have liked a bit more content.
I really like the basic idea and it looks like you had a lot more planned, but in the end it feels more like a prototype albeit a very polished one! 48 hours is just not a lot of time, which makes it more impressive that your art-style is really nice :D
hehehe, i like this >:) obviously it could use some more work in a less time-constrained setting, but this is already really enticing. the art is definitely the highlight--even without dialog, each character really comes through. great spritework and wonderful animations!
i'm excited to see more development on this! more levels for sure, but also more things to do with the possessed items--i think i was expecting a little more "ghost trick"-ness, where each item would have unique things to do, but i couldn't figure out anything other than throwing them. it doesn't seem like the "scare" does anything yet, but i really loved the ghost's transformation.
this is good for the jam, and i'm excited to see where it goes! i've actually been wanting to make a reverse-horror game starring a ghost for a bit, and this has gotten me even more excited. great job!
Rather short, but I really liked the art direction and animations! Hope you turn it into a full game after the jam!
Nice art :)
does the lady stop running or there is no end ?
Hey, thanks for the comment!
Yeah, the game is considered “done” when the lady runs out the house in this version.
Beautiful, expressive character design! Charm is oozing everywhere.
What an art! Gameplay I didn't get to do much! Nice try! Check out ours too!
This is a beautiful looking game with a really neat concept! Agreed with a few other comments that there's not really much going on gameplay-wise, but I definitely think this idea has lots of potential! Nice work!
I don't know who she called, but it sure wasn't much of a ghostbuster. :-)
Impressive art and animations! Sadly, the game is too short and buggy. Also, I don't get the point of trying to scare (pressing G while not being inside any object), it does nothing.
But overall, this is an impressive work!
Hey, thanks for the comment!
Unfortunately, I had to disable the scare function in the last hours.
Very interested in hearing which bugs you encountered.
Lovely looking and great concept. I'd love to see more!
meh too short no challenge
cute art style
Art style is very charming; music, controls and animations are clean. Congrats, very good job.
Ah yes a fellow reverse horror game maker! Really nice aesthetic, though I found it lacking in term of gameplay. I don't blame you because I couldn't do much better than this either aside by adding a score counter!
Nice little experience. The aesthetic is so good. Loved the characters and animations. Music is great as well. I would love to see a post jam version with more mechanics and interactions. Congrats!
cute art style with clean animation. Good job!
