Hey, I like it! It's so much fun to play and the idea of recoil is awesome! It can be something hard to manage but it can also be manipulated to escape quickly, tho I still find the recoil force a bit too strong.
To expand on the current gameplay, I guess having increased bullet count/ different firing modes would be interesting. Great work!
Did u try Slime Escape which is a single-player puzzle game? You help the slime to escape from the dungeon. We (Hardwin & I) are developing it into a mobile game.
Can't believe it's created in 48 hours! The puzzles are so well designed with awesome mechanics. Just a minor suggestion, as we only need to use the keyboard for control, that'd be great if we can restart the level with the 'R' button or even better if the level is going to automatically restart when there is no virus left in the scene. Sometimes I find it not so user-friendly to move my hand onto the mouse and click the restart button. (Becoz I died too much x_x). Excellent game indeed!
It's a beautiful game with a peaceful vibe and interesting idea to mutate yourself for the mate. Sadly that it's unfinished. I didn't know how to eat the other fish and it's not mentioned anywhere. Maybe a tutorial is needed so that the players know what they are doing. Generally, it's a nice work done in 48 hours!
I was a biochemistry student and found this so interesting hahaha. I spent some time figuring out which button to press too. I like the simple but challenging mechanic! May introduce the RNA system, which the nucleotides are G, U, A, C to introduce some more variety or change the corresponding nucleotide of 1, 2, 3, 4 to make it even more challenging. Overall, it's a nice work!
The graphics are really great! I like the UI which display all the skills & parameters clearly. All the controls are intuitive and simple. The animation of red blood cell flowing in the background is awesome too!
Sometimes, the leukocytes look like trapped on the wall of the blood vessel and I got stuck by some of the debris cells at the end of the blood vessel. The shooting damage is high enough that I didn't really use the short-ranged attacks by button 1 & 2. Also, when I got too close to the leukocytes, even when I used the 2 short-ranged attacks, I got killed. If this game will be further developed, the balance of the damage of long-ranged and short-ranged attacks may need to be adjusted. Besides, may introduce different movement patterns for the leukocytes to bring more challenge to the players.
Overall, it's a great work done within 48 hours! Love your game.
It's such a fun idea!Did you programme the game with C# or with a visual language?
Btw, if you like making games, dun give up on that!I lived and studied University in HK.Every one in HK told me that doing creative things can't earn money, study and get into Uni is the only way. After that many years, I finally realised that I'm interested in game making and I'm now spending all my saving to study master of animation, games and interactivity at RMIT in Australia lol
Dun live a life the others expect you to live, just insist on what you really enjoy and like!I know the life in HK is tough and all the people in HK only care about whether they can earn a lot of money(which sucks). The world is so big, you dun need to stay in a place which the norm is nonsense. You can dream big and escape from that place.
