I agree with all the other comments. Good game, good humor, creative idea. My only complaint is the melee weapons are hard to hit with. Also, sometimes the weapon message box didn't match up with the weapon I was currently holding.
Thanks for playing! We encountered some of these bugs in our playtesting but sadly didn't have time to fix it. We're working to push out a much more polished version with those bugs fixed!
Cute and interesting game! I enjoyed exploring different weapons. I like how you forced the players to use different weapons so they won't stick to the one they like the most. Sometimes, it's difficult to use the short-ranged weapon to hit the enemy tho.
So glad you enjoyed! We realized that the hitboxes on melee weapons were a tad weak, especially the bat, so we're making them clearer and larger in a future update : )

Fun game with a solid concept! The art was really cool! I really struggled with the melee weapons though!
Thank you for the comment! We're working on some things to help with attack feedback like enemy knock backs and effects! We didn't get a chance to put it in for the jam though due to time constraints.
The art and the core mechanic are the strong points of this game, really encourage guys to keep on game dev, awesome submission

11 mutations was the furthest I could go as the game got exponentially harder. Loved the colors in the game and the revolver-toaster-thing's lines with different mutations!

Fun game, nice art and sound! I couldn't tell if there was a timing to when the mutation occurred, does it happen at random or is it based on a fixed time or movement or something? Anyway I liked the variety of weapons, although I'll be honest I felt the baseball bat was extremely under-powered, and any time I got it I'd just try running around the map until something new appeared haha
thank you! mutations are based on a set timer, though the mutation you get is random aside from the first. glad you enjoyed!

stickkeyboard game. Respect the theme. Good graphics. Funny. Well done.This is really dope, I think the art is my favorite aspect of the game. The cartoonish look makes the game really come to life. The gameplay is built on a solid foundation, and I hope this game is eventually revisited one day for some polishing. :)
Fun game! Art is great and the gameplay is challenging but solid. Good amount of weapon variety and each one feels very different from another. Biggest complaint is no sound effects or other feedback when defeating an enemy. Nice job!

Great idea, good graphics and gameplay is good. Need some bugs fixed for shooting different mutators.
Fun idea, solid art. I couldn't tell when I was hitting enemies so some weapons seemed ineffective (or more likely I was missing with them). A smoother camera movement would prevent motion sickness.
Not sure if it's me but the intro screens went too fast. The story is amazing though! The idea, art and audio are awesome. The gameplay was a bit hard as one hit by an enemy seemed to remove too many hearts at once. But overall, great entry and a lot of fun! Great atmosphere too!
we were hoping to add a lil more motion and time to the opening, def will after the jam is over! thanks for the feedback on balance too, def something that some more indicators and such would fix : )
