i work with pixel and program I’m good with unity really want a group or someone where I can do mostly art for practice

Deadly addicting i was wondering if there was an end, seems like a game that would breakk the 4th wall? and the second upgrade panel dissapaered randomly at some point i kinda assumed it was part of the game but i waited like 15 mins for it to come back, regardless i enjoyed it

im waiting for a jumpscare

apologies we never learned left from right, thank you for catching that we will definitely rewrite that in the summary !

This game is a work of art i enjoyed every second of it fully and loved it, I was going insane seeing my little factory I had made be destroyed wild turn of events at the end, which i will not state for spoilers. i replayed it to get a better score and everything, amazing

I love the aesthetic! The SFX was a bit repetitive, but I guess that was the point. I thought my dad abandoned my family, but now I know he just fell down a hole!

Fun game! I do wish there was a noise or something that showed when I was being damaged, I didn't realize I took any damage at all until I remembered to look up at the hearts. Really fun, though!

Interesting stuff! As someone else said, the intro is a bit long, and I personally found the beeping from the letters to grate as a result. The game itself is pretty good considering its a week long jam, good work!

Good work! A couple of the jumps were pretty tough! The sound effects seemed a touch too loud compared to the music, and the exit level button seems to be broken, but otherwise good stuff! Keep it up!

Thank you so much!

Thank you!!

Thank you! It was totally randomized! Our artist drew up three bosses, sliced them up, then the game would reassemble them in-game! It was a lot of work, which is exactly why we're short on animations!

I love that take on it, thank you!!

I love you

Thank you so much! A lot of love went into the graphics, and the machine. Glad you liked them!!

Hello! Thank you for the compliment! We plan on adding a tutorial for the polished version, and I agree that the bosses could use a bit more buildup before their attacks, to hint at the incoming hit. We’re glad it’s fun!!

Thanks for the compliment, our artist worked pretty hard on the bosses! Yeah, we didn’t add story to it for the jam, focusing more on the bosses and conjoining mechanic. The story is already in the works for the polished version!

It would appear as if we a pretty similar game but different in many aspects, I really enjoyed to the mechanic to get new combat bonuses but it would have been nice for some more visual feedback but given that this is a jam your game was really fun and I enjoyed it

i did not hit any 360 no scopes in fact I suck at fps, none the less I enjoyed jumping away from the slime in terror trying to spin while doing so.

What an insane experience i already felt like i was playing a souls-like game by dying 5 times before even reaching the a fight.

Really enjoyed the art style a lot I really enjoyed you highlighting the boss since he is smaller it was a great way to keep track of him.

Yeah, to some degree. It isn’t possible to keep a 1:1 scale between the two with the camera moving around and zooming onto the machine, but we definitely could have done something like scale the machine up to compensate. Even then, we would have kept the icons on it a low res. In the polished version, we’ll have to scale the machine up to match. Thanks for bringing that to our attention!!

It sucks you couldn't finish! I can't accurately judge this because of that, but my biggest gripe is the fact that the cursor doesn't lock into the game, it makes controlling the camera very difficult. Keep up the grind!

Thank you so much! We've been made aware of the balancing problem, as well as tanking problem. We've already got plans in place to patch these problems as we transition this into a full game. We plan to add more bosses, more music, and a storyline!

Very well done! I loved spamming the slash attack. I loved the camera movement, my biggest issue was that the game was so loud. I loved that there was spoken dialogue, but I had to mute the game because I found it to be deafening. The difficulty options were a really nice touch, not common in jams!

I saw your comment saying you were having trouble getting it finished, that always sucks! I think the concept is really cool, I love vinyl records, but the controls were definitely broken, I couldn't do anything besides stand there and take damage, and lay on the ground

I do wish there was a way to preemptively exit the game VIA a pause menu or ESC, rather than dying. The theme was definitely apparent. I personally don't quite enjoy bullet hell, and it seemed a bit slow paced to me, but I see the appeal!

Love it! I personally love 2D characters in a 3D environment! My only criticisms are that the music was a bit loud with no way to turn it down, it was technically multiple boss fights but was only one boss asset, and I broke the game! I would lower its damage a couple times immediately, and it wouldn't be able to do very much damage to me, if any at all, and was then just me spamming attack to get rid of it. Otherwise very fun, I loved the art direction and effects, especially the shadows!

I would love to see a full game of this, the art style is amazing, and the boss was really fun to beat, my only feedback I could give is to make the boss attacks a bit more visual ques/telling signs. maybe even a large a projectile would work.

Aw dude, I think you might have had a problem uploading, the game isn't up! Huge bummer!

Although the controls are a bit unique, after playing a few times, I got used to it; I do wish you could move while attacking instead of stopping. I do think making all your controls on the mouse was a good choice for the control scheme if you didn't want to have a standard movement system. overall, I feel as if it was made with mobile in mind.  the gameplay itself was pretty fun, and learning and getting better at it was pretty enjoyable. boss designs and level selection was also really fun.

This game has GREAT art in my opinion, the animations were extremely smooth, it was fun to play if not just to watch the smooth animation, even in the menus. Great use of theme as well. My only problems with this game are that the music is a bit loud and I don't see a way to turn it down, and the controls are a bit much to remember, I'm hardwired for WASD movement and controls like mouse clicks and Q and E for attacks and abilities. But otherwise, great job! With a bit of refinement, I'd love to see a full release of this!

I wish the player walk animation had more feedback, but it worked mechanically. the effect you had at the edge of the screen was a nice move, and I think it put the theme together pretty nicely and made the game have a unique vibe.

I was a little confused, because the instructions were in English but the monster definitely did not speak English. The controls didn't seem to help with the game too much, because I don't need to move with WASD when you're stuck at a roulette table, it's useful to know about S to spin, though. It was difficult to know how the game worked despite the how to play page, because it still didn't explain the game, I saw a sword go into the boss but I still took damage. It did have a spinner, but it didn't match the boss rush genre. I don't mean to discourage you, this still took work to make and you should be proud of having finished a game, I would maybe say polish this up and re-release, maybe with some instructions, keep up the hobby!

I enjoyed the art, and the cutscene brought a tear to my eye, I do feel as if the shadows underneath the bullets confused me when I would be hit, and I think having the shadow behind or directly under may be more visually effective, although I have never made a top-down game so I'm not sure how that would mix. overall the gam art was extremely appealing and was excited to see the next boss designs.

Thanks! We did feel that we didn't balance them properly, but we plan on rectifying this in the polished full-sized game we're planning based off of this. Stay tuned!!!

AW DANG IT

Thanks, man! We do plan on making a polished version, most likely adding story and an actual genre to it. Stay tuned!!

i love the card mechanic fully, it allows for custom builds and strategizing for placement, I would've liked maybe some ability to control the speed of the spin , but really fun and overall I enjyoed it
