Really nice experience, the mining feels good and the upgrades are well done - great job!
It looks really cute. Very fun to play too. The combat wasnt too good, but served its function.
I liked the visuals very much. Had fun mining, was hoping to find a shop to get a crossbow or dynamite but couldn't find it
Please play and rate my game as well, thanks!
Good job ! Enjoyed the music and visual theme ! I maybe missed something but sometimes block did not respond when i click on them :'(
Nice visuals and music ! I really enjoyed your game.
The only thing I missed what the lack of feedback when you're hurt or when you hit something with the pickaxe.
I really love this game, there is something so fun about the gameplay and so charming about the art style. Reminds me of Steam World Dig with Spelunky Classic visuals. Great job! This has a lot of potential.
Really great game, I ended up finishing it. I can see this becoming a full game release. Great job!
This is pretty good, wasn't a fan of the film grain, and would recommend an indestructible border or something rather than empty space. But overall enjoyed it!
There actually was a border in unity but it is invisible in the build somehow. However you can hit the wall to make it visible.
NIce game, nice gameplay i love it
the artstyle is very nice to look at, music is good too, overall its a nice little game. It needs more fleshing out, more tutorials i think, i didnt know how to get back to the top, the mining is the core loop but it felt monotonous, slow and boring after 1 minute. Its a good effort
Game was fun! Looks good too! It was convinient that I can sell ore whenever I want, but then I pressed E and came to question:
Does shop should be closing by itself, when I go away from merchant? Cause I can press E and it will close, but will never open again until I came to merchant.
Also sometimes I can't jump and can stuck between 2 blocks
I had a lot of fun playing your game. I like how you did the map generation! A (possible) bug happened though, I couldn’t exit the shop screen!
Glad to hear you liked it. Did you press E to exit the shop?
I did not. I don’t remember seeing a prompt to close with E. Usually ESC or an X works. For UX, it may be worth adding that as a feature.
You're right that's on me
Everything works great, it was very satisfying to explore and collect them ores :D
🎶 I am a dwarf and I'm digging a hole. Diggy diggy hole, diggy diggy hole 🎶
I sometimes got confused at the later depth if I was inside or outside a wall (maybe my screen is just not bright enough). Other than that, enjoy the game loop! Good job for a solo project!
Really really fun game to play, I maxed the pickaxe and the game went really smooth, wish it was longer hahaha.
This was so fun to play!
This collect, sell, upgrade loop works very well for me. Could have kept playing for another hour or so, just upgrading my pickaxe and mining tougher rocks. For a jam I think it was great in length and complexity. Love the pixel art and gritty look.
I love the neon look.
Fun game! I do wish there was a noise or something that showed when I was being damaged, I didn't realize I took any damage at all until I remembered to look up at the hearts. Really fun, though!
Agree with the other comment here. A really good idea and because it's the JAM version, I understand the time constraints! A lot of potential here!
I used the same BGM for one of my old games called "Carl", good choice!
I really enjoyed the game! I especially liked the dark aesthetic. I just wish the enemies posed more of a threat and that the game was longer.
