Awesome game, good use of the theme and the gameplay was very satisfying once I got the run going. Good job :D

Thanks you for taking the time to write out your thoughts and feedback!
For your first point, we did in fact make the ice destroyable so that the player wouldn’t always just hold down the spacebar. Your idea of displaying a health bar of some type to prevent the accidental destruction of said pellets is a good one!
As for the randomness of the heatwaves and your meter, we are already implementing a way to lower your meter at will and possibly spawning enemies more closely associated with the strength of the upcoming heatwave, to give the player a fair chance of surviving it.
Thank you for playing, it is very much appreciated!
Cool visuals, I dig it. The concept is cool, but I feel like there are too many ways to softlock yourself. Maybe give the levels multiple solutions, I had so suicide a few times on the first level because I kept getting anything except a two. Apart from that, very interesting take on the theme, very well done!
Awesome game, I was able to get 9/10 of the dice! I got to play with all the mechanics, I got to the double jump last and I don’t even know if its possible to beat the game with it. The movement is solid, I’d love to be able to use the abilities I already rolled in between playthroughs, maybe thats an idea for when you add a sprite to the character! Good job!
Cool take on snake! As other people commented, I think the game could have used a bit more explanation on what item does what, because as of now there doesn’t seem to be any incentive to grab anything else as it grows your hitbox without having a clearly defined advantage (expect for the gunner cat).
Apart from that nitpick, game is cute, I love the fact that the levels are randomized and music is guuchi. Great job!
Noice game! I’d maybe tune down the attack animation’s particle count, as a bright blue boom when the screen is really dark is a tad overkill. Apart from taht I like the fact that level 4 or 5 teaches you that crouching makes it so that enemies don’t run at you. Overall nice project and something to be proud of :)
