somehow I missed this and forgot to respond. sorry.

on itch.io, how much you spend on a project is accumulative. you can buy the game and then fund extra if you really want to, and unlock rewards that way.

if you mess up and don't buy the supporter thing, you can just shoot me an email if you spent enough to get the tier.

Please keep an eye out for a future sale!

oh yes. that was a cut project, and because the directory is still there, my script to fill the art pack still picks it up.. @w@

I'll probably do another for him at some point!!

One of the thoughts I did have was that perhaps the Time Attack mode might be punishing on less experienced players, which is why I shoved them all to be later levels. Every stage added is indeed a Time Attack stage, but I'm considering the experience of a new player instead of someone coming back to finish the game off @w@

I will probably make a patch tomorrow, to scale the time bonus on Time Attack to the difficulty mode.

sorry if it's a problem, it just didn't make sense to have a paid version while having the web one fully available... @w@

not thought about it. but I guess it's possible.

at Infurnity this week, so not working on the game at the moment! but I might add this in.

I'd love to see more people post artwork there!

next year I'm keen on making a sister game where that would be the focus. for now I'm just covering a neglected niche!!

yay!

I'm adding a good hint to one of the useful cheats in the next update!

Yeah, you know what, new character can wait, I don't have much time until I fly to another con. @w@

I could put out an update tomorrow, but it won't include the new character. Custom character support is done, but I really wanted to bundle a character in.

yaaay

thank you, I'll be adding more pages... @w@

make sure the touch UI is enabled! yellow star button.

unlikely I will add an entire text input for an easter egg. you can try using a Bluetooth/USB keyboard.

interesting. I'm using Chrome MacOS right now.

I'm not sure.

Go to the Application tab, IndexedDB, /userfs and find this key:

Delete the key and relaunch the game. Is it fine now?

I can play it just fine?

What browser and device? Is there anything useful in the Javascript console?

honestly, I don't really think about it. I just put gay as a tag because it would appeal to people looking at the tag, it has nothing to do with preferences of the characters.

yes, this is known. it'll be a little difficult to fix.

only enable it if you want to stream it or something.

1)  There's already a SFW mode. "Ascension mode" basically became the difficulty system.

2) I don't know what BB is. I figure I'd just leave it up to people to distribute characters how they see fit because I don't want to deal with liability of user-generated R18 content.

3) Here and Steam as a separate download.

4) Potentially, let me see how custom characters work out first.

5) You don't need to send the email if you used the reward form.

6) I love Mineral. Mocha is my favorite original character, thoughever.

7) Please make fanart.

make sure to enable the touch UI in the settings!!

Achievements, once Godot 4.3 hits stable and GodotSteam has official support.

Trading cards, once Valve gives me the go-ahead.

Hello,

I'm 99% sure there's a running total tied to your itch account, so you just need to pay the $6.

Thank you!!

ah, fine @w@ can I have your email address again?

Sorry if it is not clear, but I am not giving itch.io keys for Steam purchases:

  1. Unlike itch.io, Steam anonymises purchases. If someone buys on Steam, refunds, then asks for an itch key, I have no way of knowing and risk a loss.
  2. itch.io buyers receiving Steam keys is a reward for early adopters who purchased on itch.io.

Can you check https://itch.io/my-purchases?

Sorry, I’m unable to link games the other way around and I really can’t offer this service because it would be a lot of manual work. If I do it for you, I would have to do it for everybody, etc.

This bug has actually been around for a while, perhaps it is time I cleaned it up.

> This also causes the 10 second timer to go down super quickly.

this part is intentional, since if you're in this situation and the timer is ticking down there's clearly no recovery.

iOS?

make sure you have enabled app installs from unknown sources. if that still doesn't work, the file might have been corrupted and you could try downloading it again. if that still doesn't work, I'll need some more information.

I like the idea of keeping the cheats a little secret :3 I think it's more fun than leaving a list out in the open.

that's exactly what I wanted to hear!!!!

I think the match 8 mode requires too much thinking time. It'll probably stay on the cutting room floor for now.

This thread has been made obsolete after 1.8 addressed the critique. I’ll make a new thread later if any more issues arise. Thank you!

Hi,

Where are you seeing this warning? On Itch? I tried to redeem a Steam key for myself and it showed me a key just fine.

Can you post a screenshot or something, because I really have no idea.

Edit: I think you're complaining about the Sign-in-through-Steam dialog. This is for account linking from Steam to Itch and is nothing to do with the game. This is perfectly safe.

Ah! Good feedback. I agree very much.

I'm addressing both of these issues in an update on Wednesday.

Hello!

Reading some discussions elsewhere online prompted me to make this thread and ask whether some stages need to be easier or harder.

It's okay for some stages to be more difficult than others. But what I don't want is for stages to be too difficult that it is too challenging compared to the unlock prerequisites, or too simple that it offers little challenge. Judgment is a problem from my perspective, since I designed the thing and I know everything that a new player doesn't.

I'm also keen to swap stages around and change gamemodes entirely -- for example, I'm not too keen on the "zen" modes in hindsight, and perhaps they should appear sooner if they are easier.

At any time, I would appreciate if you could leave your thoughts and I may tune based on the feedback I hear the most.

Thankyou!!

I'll make the character switching nicer soon, I'm aware of a weird flicker you sometimes see.
