I like the concept of your game. But as you pointed out, this was your first game (using the GDevlop engine I will assume), the implementation and the feel your game gives is not as good as it could be. As a beginner developer, this is my detailed feedback to hopefully give you some guidelines on what to improve:

- First the collisions are broken, sometimes doors will open and close frenetically which shows that there is an issue. If that is because of the collision detection system of the engine you could probably disable the collisions for the entry door right after the player enters level itself, then when he comes back enable it at that specific moment.

- The sprites and animations are quite good especially the player which gives a nice vibe but is weird to see them collide with each other. Again, this collision thing is weird. The player is supposed to be repelled from the enemy if he hits it horizontally, but what happens is that if the player moves towards the enemy while being knocked back, then he instantly gets hit another time which makes the lives fly by sometimes.

- The idea is very good of trading some abilities for others but the first time I played the level, I didn't understand what I should do directly. I stumbled luckily at the bottom right of the level at a door (which constantly opened and closed when I entered it). The map was too big and non-guided at all, it was like a farm where you had to gather ingredients, except they are everywhere and bring them to the end door which is hard to locate the first time.

- The only good moments I felt were when discovering the controls of the player and when I saw some nice particles when walking and when some enemies were stuck in hole where I could just jump on them automatically. My least favorite moments are where I got stuck between two enemies and felt that it was impossible to get out of there as the platform didn't allow me to use my jump to go over them.

I hope this helps you!

Thank you for passing by! I will definitely make the tutorial a bit friendlier in my future games ;)

The graphics are homogenous which is my favorite part about your game! Otherwise, I think that you could have implement multiple columns for different level difficulties (I stopped at level 4 so tell me if I'm wrong). The idea is not so bad with more variety probably fat people who need 2 burgers etc. There is a bug in which if two clients are too close from each other, one burger will deactivate both and they will only take one burger even if you shoot back at them. I don't know if it suffices them to eat one burger, that is not my point: it is not clear who needs burger and who doesn't. Otherwise, the game idea is great, but its implementation is too simple.

The concept is well implemented! The default difficulty is just too hard to begin with. You need at least some precise way to maneuver even when you are the last squadron, it is still hard to change direction. I think that the player's bullets are too small and killing enemies is just not worth it. Running through enemy bullets towards the end is the way to go but the controls make it very unfair and hard. Otherwise, the concept is fun.

The game idea is a quite a bit different than what I expected but it was fun. I just didn't really get why the shotgun range is so small because it looks like a melee attack at this point but that's alright as there are some particles that shows the range. I thought that the kid would play on his computer, dream, develop something, reviews, dream again. Basically, your game could have some follow-up because the story is interesting.  Overall good work! (I just highlighted the downsides).

Thank you for your rating! I will try to keep up the good work!

I'll take a look at your game too.

Thank you so much! I will be sure to allow more time for level design and making or make it somehow auto generated!

I'll take your suggestion as a confirmation of some of my thoughts. Thanks for rating, I'll make sure to do the same for your game!

I had a little trouble making the game challenging and not too easy. At first you could aim with the Up and Down arrow keys but that seemed a bit too slow and boring. I probably could have implemented a time limit or some other mechanic. Thanks for the feedback!

That's right! The game is definitely possible.

I'll be sure to update my review later today!

Wow! I replayed your game to check if it was that hard but actually, I managed to finish your game, and it was actually fun now that I have seen the solution from the user yumehiko on his video.

Honestly, I stop playing at the impossible part that was discussed a lot as you mentioned.

The art, as other testers pointed out, was awesome! But there is a difficulty spike slightly after we are told that we can double jump. I think restarting and checkpoints could have been better coordinated except if your game was meant to be very hard. Fun and casual until you get stuck and try to speedrun the thing.

[EDIT] The game is not that hard if you understand the mechanic! Maybe a tutorial or a demo of how to use the green paddles would be useful to players.

I loved the game idea as it made me remember a flash game, I used to play all the time where you had to pick between different archers at the beginning (ice, fire, electric) => arrows effects. I think it is awesome for the amount of time we all had to create a game that you made this very polished and quite challenging game. I arrived at wave 5 and lost after that. I think that the taxes grow too much especially when you don't get in off gold when you learn the basics of the game. With more tries I think I could bear with the very low fire rate and improve at the early game phase.

Nice One! XD

I'll test your game; you can check my comment in a few minutes.

I finished the game, and it is awesome! The only downside/bug I found out is that resuming time while the time not being paused makes the cooldown reset which is very punishing at the beginning where you are trying out the controls. A sound like an error would have been more fun, I think.

The idea is super interesting as you are invited to shoot at your enemies to continue but the ammo limitation and no way to get ammo is just the thing that makes the game look not play tested in off.

I survived 27s. After three attempts I figured out that you can just leave a finger on the space bar and try to dodge bullets as they are the hardest thing to survive against.

I honestly didn't quite get it. I won in a matter of seconds as the credits showed up. I felt like dream (famous Minecraft speedrunner) for some time, but I don't know how the game is supposed to be 'hard' or 'challenging' as the controls were inverted and I fell by accident. But the concept would be fun if the game was more "Play Tested". (I highly suggest you reader to watch this video: How to Play Test).

I like the game itself which is about a cleaner who has tasks but the fact that they are in Spanish makes it hard to understand. I did my best to interact with everything and it was fun, but at a certain point I fell off the platform and stayed falling forever. The game needs a better polishing with the simple controls showed on the screen, and some bug fixing.
