Actually, I had planned to add a mini-map to the game that would display the remaining electrons, enemies, walls, and projectiles, precisely for the reasons you mentioned. But due to a lack of time, I had to scrap this feature, as I found the game was still relatively playable without it and that more important elements were missing... And thanks for the kind words! ❤

A Simple Yet Immersive Exploration Experience 🌊🕵️♂️✨
As an Iron Lung enjoyer, this game is a hidden gem 💎. I genuinely felt the same kind of eerie, gripping emotions throughout. The LIDAR mechanic is an amazing idea 🛰️, and the game is packed with clever design choices. From gameplay to level design, everything is incredibly well-crafted. 🎮🔍
But one of the biggest strengths of the game is definitely its storytelling 📖. The effort put into the atmosphere and narrative cinematics is jaw-dropping! 😮🎬 The visuals are on point, simple yet effective, enhanced by a well-chosen soundtrack 🎵 and polished SFX 🎧, creating a captivating and immersive experience. 🎨🌌
Congratulations, this game is truly outstanding! 👏🔥🚀
A Fast-Paced and Insanely Fun Game! ⚡🎮
I just can’t stop playing—this game is truly excellent! The level design is well thought out, and it looks visually stunning. What more could I ask for? I had an amazing time. The way the player gains power alongside the enemies creates a satisfying yet challenging experience—you have to quickly master everything to keep up. And the movement is tight, responsive, and incredibly satisfying. 🏃💨
If I had to point out one thing, I’d say the combat could use a bit more visual feedback. In such a fast and dynamic game, I think that would make it even more fun! But honestly, for a game made in just 10 days, this is more than enough to have a blast. 🚀
A fantastic game—I’m glad I saved this one for last! Well done! 👏🔥
An Addictive and Satisfying Modular Puzzle Game! 🧩⚙️
This game is absolutely brilliant! 🎮 It offers great freedom, is easy to understand, incredibly satisfying, and provides endless possibilities. It’s almost like a sandbox game, super ingenious and original. I never expected to find something like this during the jam, and I’m enjoying it a lot! 🌟 Every element is perfectly chosen, and the game feels fresh with every attempt. It’s so satisfying to watch these perfectly tuned machines come together piece by piece. 🛠️💡
However, due to Godot's physics engine, the game sometimes feels non-deterministic and relies on randomness. 🎲 It would also be great to have an option to validate your setup and move on to the next objective, especially in a game that’s all about experimentation. And at times, the random spawns feel impossible. 🔴
In conclusion, this is an excellent game! 👏 Fantastic work, and I really hope you have more original ideas to offer to the gaming community! 🎉
A Progressive Hack 'n' Slash Survival! ⚔️🔥
Fast-paced and fun, with a catchy soundtrack 🎶! Once you master the controls and get giga buff, the game becomes truly exhilarating. The graphics are solid, and the core idea of using parries to gain power is really cool. The sense of progression is satisfying and engaging, though it seems to slow down over time. And wiping out waves of enemies solo? Absolutely badass. 💥
That said, the difficulty feels quite high from the start, and when enemies pile up, the player can feel powerless if they aren’t well-prepared. ⚠️ Maybe nerfing power loss from enemy attacks or making it more gradual would help, as the risk-reward dynamic didn’t always feel worth it. Also, the game feel could be snappier, as the controls and feedback feel a bit rigid at times.
Still, this is a great game with a lot of potential! With some balancing tweaks and a stronger sense of impact, it could turn even better in my opinion. Looking forward to future updates! 🚀🎮
A Polished, Addictive Arcade Game—Market-Ready and Made by One Person! 🎮🔥
The soundtrack is varied and super groovy 🎶, the level design is carefully crafted and cohesive, and the controls feel smooth and responsive. Everything is polished to perfection, with a beautiful retro aesthetic and a limited color palette making the game easy to sight-read.
It’s dynamic, highly addictive, and always makes you want to push forward to the next level. And there are plenty of them, each just as well-designed! The progression is excellent, the difficulty perfectly tuned ⚖, and everything—from enemy speed to energy loss—feels finely balanced. All of this in a game that’s easy to understand and pick up.
An outstanding entry. 👏 Huge congratulations, Joseph—I’m sold!
A Simple, Fast, but Complete and Fun Game! 🎮✨
It takes the theme in the simplest way possible—but it works! ✅ No need to overcomplicate things. The game is well-polished, though it might be missing some music 🎵. The objectives are clear, and the progression and strategy-building are very satisfying. Plus, the story is funny, making everything feel more alive! 📖
The only downside I noticed is that the controls felt a bit rigid and unforgiving, and some moves seemed like bugs to me 🎮. Maybe adding a coyote time and a jump queue would make the gameplay smoother and more enjoyable.
But aside from that, it's still a great entry! Well done! 👏
A Unique Game, Beautifully Presented and Polished! 🎮✨
The idea that knowledge is power is absolutely brilliant 💡, and its execution in the gameplay is just as perfect! The world is vibrant and fun, the narrator always seems one step ahead 🧐, the character designs are delightfully wacky 🎭, and the difficulty curve feels just right. I can only say: bravo! 👏
If there's one small thing I could criticize, it would be the clarity of the connections between screens and the camera management. While this adds to the challenge, a small arrow indicating a room above or below 📍 could help guide the player without hurting the experience.
But in the end, it's still an amazing game! 🎉 Great job! 💪🎨
If the gameplay felt a bit slow, that's normal. What’s not normal, however, is that I forgot to explain the basic mechanics in the tutorial 😐: more power (electrons and protons) and more combo (damage dealt is limited by damage received) result in more speed, which can also be increased through bouncing or spam-clicking. I probably should have made this clearer—especially since the idea that being heavier makes you faster is, I admit, quite counterintuitive🤔.
The game balance is also, of course, far from perfect. But in fact, the spam-clicking strategy was intentional. However, I only fully realized it while working on levels 2 and 3, which explains the large number of projectiles, enemies capable of dodging, and many other ways to punish spam-clicking in these areas. That said, in level 1 and part of level 2, brute forcing works far too well, and I couldn't find a way to limit it without making the early game too punishing🤦…
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad to hear that the feeling of power is at least present😹. This will definitely be useful if I ever find the motivation to revisit the game—or for future projects! 👍
Thank you, that means a lot! I really went all-in on the power fantasy, and I wasn’t sure if I loved it because I'd been working non-stop on it for a week or if it was actually cool. Glad I could put something interesting out there (even though I’m still bummed about the soundtrack—I was so excited to make it 😔).
Your game also caught my eye in the submissions list, and if I weren’t stuck on a potato PC right now, I’d be playing it already. Anyway, best of luck! 🍀
P.S.: The resemblance to Diep.io wasn’t intentional, but yeah, it does look pretty similar—and I’m not mad about it! 😆
The first positive aspect that stands out is that art is great, but it’s not the only highlight of the game. Indeed, I'm really fond of the concept and despite the fact that there are many ways to solve a level, it remains challenging. On the other hand, the game design is stunning. Everything is done to make the user experience easy and it sets up a very good, environment to think. I'm especially talking about the undo button. Awesome game here !
This game kinda reminds me of "VVVVVV" or the last year winner of the Nokia Jam "Fast Jump Slow Jump" Which are both grate games. So great minds meet ! Really great simplistic art style. The kind of thing you're not surprised to find in a game jam but that really sticks with the main theme, Nokia 3310. Along that, the game feel is really good as the controls are easy to handle and the movement is really nice and fluid, which is rare for a game with a so small resolution ! That almost makes me want to speedrun. Great job !
If you are brave and strong enough, you can test my game: Super Jetboy. The current record is 99.38 seconds. Here it is : https://kiapigeon.itch.io/jetboy
