Great idea!
Managing both the «prey» and the drones was pretty fun.
Loved the music, kudos to your friend.
A bit of feedback:
The game resolution was too big for the frame itch provides. I encountered problems with seeing the full viewport.
- It wasn't clear at first that you need to drag americans to the big UFO. I was trying to insert a poor gringo into the little UFO until I stumbled upon a bigger one 😅
Thanks!
5th level is the last, so you've seen them all, congrats! Also, not many reach that far, so it's pleasant to hear that you've got to it :)
And as for the amount of enemies and bosses, I initially wanted to rotate them by replacing one enemy by a new one each level, and creating unique bosses for each level, but, well, I got tired working on this game 😅
Thanks for playing my game and for your nice words!
First of all, congrats on pulling that off in scratch, that's cool.
The idea is nice as well, it's simple yet there is some potential to it.
Great pixel art!
But yeah, it's a bit long for such a simple game loop. 20-25 minutes is too much, but like 5 minutes would be a great duration for that mechanic.
Nice idea and a pretty solid implementation!
I think it deserves more polishing -- it was a bit hard to read the text. Also adding separate UI elements for each of people/army/politics would help to keep track of where you stand with each side. The easier it is to track your status in the game -- the nicer it is to play.
Wish you luck with this and other projects!
