Thanks :) I'm glad someone was able to get some enjoyment out of this old game and I'm pleased to hear you appreciate my home-made sound effects!

This is awesome! It's addictive and original. Looks good too. Nice job!

Thanks for your comment and feedback! It fits the theme of "one button" in the sense that you only have one button for all your spells. And I agree, I definitely made the game too hard and will look at slowing down the enemies in the future.

It's well made and the style of game was a great choice for the "one button" theme. The level design was also excellent, and made the gameplay quite strategic. It would have been nice to see a curser or indicator showing me where my shots were going to go. Music and sounds would also have benefitted it a lot. But otherwise, great game!

Cool game! It looks and sounds good, and the mechanics are fun. I found the mouse movement a bit oversensitive though, and the difficulty (even on medium) is very tough.

Thanks! Yeah, I think I did make it a little too hard so will slow down the goblins after the jam

Thanks, I originally thought about having multiple wands, some that gave indicators and some that were totally random, but unfortunately ran out of time before implementing it.

Game jams are fun because everyone interprets the theme differently. Making your entire game with only one input button is one way to interpret it and many entries have done this really well. But in this game you cast all your spells with "one button", so it still fits the theme.

Thanks! Arrow keys or "WASD" controls should work.

I agree, I think the game looks good overall. I found the controls far to sensitive though - after about ten tries I was only able to get through the first one or two. And after that the game crashed. Still, it's got a lot of potential!

Good game. The aesthetic is cool and I particularly liked the music

This is super impressive! The game is polished and plays really well. Seems more like something you'd find on the appstore than a beginner game jam!

I found it quite tricky, but it's addictive and the core mechanic is a lot of fun.  I liked how you select difficulty by jumping into the right collider.

The sound effects are great and the mechanics are fun. Cool game!

As others have said, this game looks really awesome! It also felt very satisfying landing a hit on the enemy and seeing it get flung backwards, and it was also cool seeing the player go flying whenever you take a hit yourself. I agree with the other comments, I felt a little confused when I first started and kinda panicked as this giant face began chasing me.  Still, the controls are fairly intuitive and the music/great visuals made this game very intense to play, which I liked.

This is a seriously good game. I got caught a lot, but the game was so engaging that I still played to the end. The whole game looks and feels really nice, and I particularly liked how you have to revisit rooms after you unlock specific power ups.

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I appreciate the feedback

Really awesome little game. Simple to understand but with quite a bit of strategy. It's also really addictive

This really impressed me. Everything in the game - the visuals, the music, and that really cool mechanic of only being able to see your surroundings once you touch them creates an awesome mysterious atmosphere.

Only thing is I spotted a minor typo at the start. It says the controls for left and right are the 'S' and 'D' keys rather than 'A' and 'D'. But if the only critique I can give a game is a slight typo, then the game must be close to perfect!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

I'll make the "How to Play" scene play automatically once the player starts the game

I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for your great suggestions, a reset button makes a lot of sense and would be pretty easy to throw in. And I'll definitely scale the difficulty down a bit once the jam is over.

Thanks for your feedback! After the jam I'll make the default music a bit quieter, and maybe add volume control

What a gorgeous game! Everything has been so well done. Probably the best submission I've seen so far.

Very polished and a lot of fun

Neat game. Fun to play and I thought the level design was pretty good.  I found it a bit short though

Nice game! Pretty tough but still very enjoyable.

Pretty cool game, I had fun playing it. I particularly liked the power-ups and the variety of enemies. The music was also well done and I liked how you get to see where the next wave will spawn from.

However, after a while I felt the gameplay got a little repetitive. Apart from the powerups, there were no new features introduced as the game progressed. Maybe you could give the player one tower to start with and have the others unlock as you progress? Also the main menu has no quit button and once I started the game there was no way to return to the main menu except by dying.

Still, nice concept and it has a lot of potential.

Really cool game! I like how frantic it gets as you constantly dash between the shop and inventory. I felt it ramped up in difficulty quite fast though

This game is really well done. The music was always on point, the puzzles were engaging but most of all I think the it's greatest strength is it's brilliant (if a bit bizarre) story.

Like some have said, the repeating dialog can get a little annoying if you die a few times - particularly on the rotating level. I don't know how many times I heard that 90 degree joke! But really that is just a minor nit pick in an otherwise original and impressive game.
