Great attention to detail! Thanks so much for the helpful comment, glad you enjoyed it

Really interesting game! The game loop and mechanics are really nice, and the tutorial was pretty awesome (helpful and well presented). A couple of times I got a bit stuck, I think because features hadn't locked on and were just in the way, which was a bit annoying but maybe designed to be that way?

Great use of the theme and wildcards, this could be a really relaxing game to play. I loved the way the growing and sprouting of leaves worked, as well at the backgrounds. Nice work!

Haha nice one I think you found an overpowered strategy there! Might have to make the stones deteriorate over time, only slowly though. Glad the ghost punished you for these antics though!

Yes good ideas, thanks!

This is a great implementation, fun to play and the physics are surprisingly robust. Good job!

ok thanks, will need to change that art, clearly. You can remap the controls before you start playing if that helps. What would have been more intuitive to you,  out of interest?

potato!  XD that is amazing feedback thanks very much, maybe I should have made it more jagged around the edges. Now that you say it I can definitely see it as a potato, whoops. Glad you enjoyed the strategy of the game though

Thank you glad you enjoyed it. Great idea on the ghosts I actually hadn't thought about that and was considering more varieties of plant life instead, but I like it

Good game! I like the graphics and sound effects - the character voices are great. A bit of a tutorial would be nice, the first time the enemy doubled up their damage took me by surprise and not in a good way! The world map is really well done, although it would be better if you could click multiple spots ahead and the character would move straight there, rather than needed 3 clicks to get back to where you were

ah I see, thanks. I hope the PC download works better for you

FYI most of the feedback you gave has now been added to the latest versions of the game, and I am planning on continuing to add more polish for a while too

Hi! The Windows version should now be available for you to download. Let me know if you have any feedback on it. Does the download just help with bandwidth/internet issues?

I will do and I will let you know when it is done

Glad you enjoyed it! The artwork for the enemies is not mine, they currently come from HeartBeast (https://uheartbeast.itch.io/) and 0x72 (https://0x72.itch.io/16x16-dungeon-tileset) although I did animate those a bit.

This is a good game! I loved the commitment to accessibility through all the voiceovers, and creating crazy combinations was a lot of fun

If you click "Make a Substitution" before adding any ingredients it just shows a grey box, which I initially thought was a bug, so maybe adding some guidance here that the player should go to the fridge first would be helpful.

Thank you, this was a really helpful critique! Next time I will definitely check out #team-up for music, that is a  great suggestion.

I agree with all your improvement points, most of my choices were supposed to be placeholder and I never came back and changed them. Implementing an undo button and some visual indications BEFORE playing cards will require some reasonable re-factoring of the code but sounds like a good challenge!

Hi, thanks for the tileset, I used it in my recent gamejam game https://knightadz.itch.io/deckbuild-arena

I liked this, the difficulty curve felt just right and the concept was well executed

I like how you incorporated the theme into the simulation game, was a nice relaxing way to pass the time

I loved the art in this, and the concept was really cool - using the theme in a clever way to unlock more of the level as you go along. I think tighter controls & camera would have made it feel nicer to play. Nice work!

I scored 7100 and felt like I could have kept going for ages, maybe making the speed get faster the longer you stay alive would keep it challenging for longer. Good job!

This was cool, played until the end, took me 17 deaths. Definitely a few levels where I felt like I cheated or did an unexpected solution, especially once I realised you can drag the pieces while the player is moving :)

That's really encouraging, thank you!!

Great idea for the theme! Played through to the end and enjoyed the different mechanics you managed to get in there. Had a couple of bugs of picking up the piece and a square at the same time but nothing game breaking. Found it funny when I left the piece in a place where I couldn't easily spot it again!

This was great! Brilliant use of the theme, and it was relaxing to play. The controls felt tight, the little speech bubbles were cool and the puzzles were clever. I didn't encounter any game breaking bugs, but think I found a secret plug in point on the first jumping level? I must admit the opening menus impressed me, I should put more effort into the menus for my games next time

Glad you enjoyed it. I agree about the card variety, I really wanted to get more in there that would allow for some cool combos, as well as maybe some poison effects and moving the enemies around some more. Thanks for the feedback

Yeah I probably need to add a more obvious warning when you get low on health as the tiny number in the top left is not very helpful

Thanks, deckbuilders are fun although I found it a challenge to code up the card mechanics in a decent way. Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for commenting!

This was a lot of fun! I liked the different controls available to the player, and enjoyed setting myself up in orbits and launching artillery at the enemies. It seemed like the health bar was a bit pointless though as any hit would kill you. Great effort for a solo dev's first Godot game, nice one

Great game, lots of fun and lots of character. I love the way the claws make a clacking sound in time to the music once you get a bunch of them up and running!

Wow nice, destructible terrain sounds like a challenge, hope it goes ok!

Thank you for coming back to rate it, glad you enjoyed it!

Great game, loved the visuals and the humour. It took me 14mins...i needed to use the walkthrough to find the 20th as my click didn't register one time I tried before. Really fun!

I would love more ratings and feedback on my (first ever) game please!

Loved this, never would have though to make a racing game with the art pack. The driver AI seemed realistic and it was fun to race although once I got in front it felt like I would win every time. To add a bit more polish I would suggest having the sprite change slightly to indicate you are turning. Some tracks that require you to brake would be good too, I just went full throttle the whole way round

Honestly I thought this game was amazing. The music endeared me to it immediately and then the puzzles were really well thought out and a good level of challenge. The character switching was a really nice mechanic, especially when the creatures all have different abilities. The only issue was that it took me a little while to understand that the creatures have to be lined up to switch (I know the message says this but I didn't get it first time round). Awesome work, great game!

I like the idea and the sound effects were great. The animations for the enemies dying were good but I felt there could have been more polish for when the player dies, rather than just a quick cut to the menu screen. The tutorial was helpful too!

Really fun game! Love the controls, the fonts and the sound effects. Great idea and creative use of the art pack. Had a lot of fun trying to knock the gators out of the way
