Great platforming puzzle game that was fun for what it was. That being said I really wish there was a consistent theme in the visuals. Would give it an extra polish that would really make the game look just that much more enjoyable. For example the clown character, diamond and balloons stood out from the boxes and mushrooms which in turn also stood out form the background and the trees. If they all were taken from the same artstyle it would look just that much more polished. Not to say that they were bad. Just that they didnt feel like the meshed well.
I was gonna suggest feedback but seems like everyone faced the same difficulty of not being able to fire at the same time. If the intention was so that only when you jump can you shoot then I feel like every jump should give the ability to shoot. Otherwise it just feels weird and makes me less inclined to play the game the intended way. That being said it was graphically nice and fun to play
There were initially plans to place temporary interactable which would allow for the path that the enemies took to change. However, I couldnt implement it correctly before the jam which resulted in me having to remove it. Yeah the house just generates money and health if upgraded properly. Will definitely add some new aspects to the game such as new enemy types, more rounds and a progressive difficulty based on the rounds. I do also acknowledge that balancing is an issue which is something I have yet to actually overcome. Anyways, thanks for the feedback.
