A nice TD game—I really enjoyed playing it. It got a bit slow in the early 30s when my turrets were able to keep the tanks pinned down at the entrance. I also didn’t realise that the crates could be clicked on!

A few minor points: The graphics are glitchy, not always playing the animations to show when turrets are firing. It’s not clear what some upgrades do or how they differ from each other (range upgrades, DPS vs damage/fire rate, etc.)

I played this before ratings opened and almost forgot to come back and rate. I really like TD games and you’ve got a great start here. I’d love to see you develop it further. Good job.

Nice short little game, liked the concept of different enemy types (which could definitely be expanded further, like special shield types, or de facto types like enemies which move too fast for certain turrets to snipe them), shame it ends so early though.
The balancing is pretty good for the first few rounds but after that the rate at which your turrets destroy enemies gets so high that you can't even see what you're fighting most of the time since the enemies just get obliterated at spawn.

The text at the top right explaining what to do could be changed so it only displays the instructions for one specific building.

I liked the simplistic, kind of nostalgic visual effects of the game. Not a real big fan of the audio though (especially there being no way to turn it off)

This was a really nice and solid tower defense game! I liked the idea of having two different types of enemies, the ground and air ones. This makes placing towers a lot more tricky, because you have to think what kind of tower should go in the most optimal spot. Great stuff!

At the very beginning I was unsure where I should place my towers, because I had no idea where the enemies would come from. Maybe instead of the road just vanishing off screen it would be clearer to have some kind of castle or fort you are defending? Or at least some other way to make it clear which way the enemies will go.

I also thought it was a shame the game ended after 40 rounds. It could have been interesting to maybe have fewer rounds, but different locations or different paths. But I guess you know this :) I was also wondering what the extra loops in the game are for, as the enemies never seem to take those paths?

From a gameplay perspective everything worked great. For me it was actually pretty clear what the house did. Does it just generate more money like it says in the top right? It took me a bit of time to figure out I could also upgrade my towers, but I liked it a lot when I did! The staggering ability on the ground units is a bit overpowered though, haha XD

Very nicely made and a great submission for the jam! I enjoyed this a lot, thanks for making it ^_^

There were initially plans to place temporary interactable which would allow for the path that the enemies took to change. However, I couldnt implement it correctly before the jam which resulted in me having to remove it. Yeah the house just generates money and health if upgraded properly. Will definitely add some new aspects to the game such as new enemy types, more rounds and a progressive difficulty based on the rounds. I do also acknowledge that balancing is an issue which is something I have yet to actually overcome. Anyways, thanks for the feedback.

Quite enjoyable :)

Just a little sad that it ends after defeating 40 rounds of enemies.

this is very fun
however there is a bug where you cant buy items when your money is equal to the thing that you want to buy

Developer

Thanks for mentioning. Dont think I am able to fix it during the rating period itself but after the jam is over I will be sure to update it.

Fun game! I also didn't know what the house did, but I got it because it anyways! Nice job!

This was a fun game to play. I think a full-screen option would have been a good addition as well as keeping the music in the actual game and not the menu. But I think it was awesome overall!

Was fun and quick to play. Using mainly single shot turrets was very broken and made the later levels easy. Still not 100% sure what the house did but all in all a nice tower defense

Developer

Thanks for pointing that out I guess I could have balanced the game better

Balancing any strategy game will take a lot of time, it was fun to play and I would def be interested in a few more maps in the future if there is some follow up development.

I can play the game, but no option for full-screen. You should have it on.

Good job finishing it in a month :D

Thanks for the feedback. I will try to give the game the option to fullscreen but I am probably going to need to take some time to figure out how.

ahahah nevermind it was way easier than I thought
