First, great idea for a jam :)

Second, an IRL friend and I have been talking about making a podcast for years; can we submit a pilot to this jam? Is it within the spirit of the rules?

The whole audio/visual vibe is unlike anything I've ever played. I'm a fan of bullet hells too. Great stuff

One of the more chaotic games I've played, in a good way. I could definitely see speed-running being a thing for this one

Incredible jam game. Looks great and sounds awesome with so many nice touches (multi-colored stars, stereo audio for the weapons). That BJI rainbow apparently stands for quality.

Not financial advice

Super solid! It felt like a good twin-stick Breakout with awesome music

The boss was a nice touch!

I had fun trying to progress against the particles. Level 3 was pretty tough but I beat it a few times!

So good at hitting those classic RPG notes. Tons of content and must have required a lot of work!

Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed :) Regarding score, pressing R "banks" the points you've accumulated during the combo (if you get hit before you bank the points, you lose them)

Scored a cool 91 points. Don't sleep on Keyboard Salad, y'all. Fire emoji

I parked me some cars and crashed a whole lot more!

My favorite game so far. Love the simplicity of the gameplay. It took me a few tries to come across my first power-up, and everything made even more sense once I realized my shots propelled me in the opposite direction. Excellent work

The toast may or may not be a lie. Good stuff!

Wow! Amazing and ambitious. Each area was unique and flowed so well with the next one. Loved it.

Really enjoyed this. The gameplay was satisfying and everything had a clean look. The final weapon was awesome!

196 points, baby. One of my favorites so far and would gladly play as a cocky businessclown in a catastrophe again

Enjoyed this one. It's challenging but on my third try I lasted quite a while

This is undoubtedly the most choatic game I've ever played

This is one of those games where you can tell that the artist realized their vision in making it. And the vision for this one is spot-on. 12/10 would be a milk man with marital problems in an R.V. again.

The music really made me want to be that hot dog! Good job on this game :)

I became one <3

I felt like the difficulty of the puzzles was just right, and each puzzle did something a little bit different than the rest. Also, each time you introduced a new mechanic, you did it in an easy way which made me feel comfortable as a player. I've never played a game with the core mechanic of splitting my body this way, so good job designing that!

At least 20 stars for art/music and the gameplay is on point. The UI is probably the best I've seen this jam. I'd buy this game.

Loved the take on the theme and the puzzle design is on point with this one

There's so much to like here. Narrative, art, animation (especially turning), and music are super good. The idea of the character being attracted to the bullets is fantastic. Plus a ton of content!

One of the best games I've played during the jam. The design and visuals are mind-blown.gif

Totally into this concept and the art is fire emoji

I'm totally here for this take on the genre. Thumbs up.

This was excellent; I really liked the story too!

Really nice! I felt like the difficulty was tuned just right to be satisfying (I made it into the mid-80s on both playthroughs) and the gameplay made sense pretty quickly. The UI was done really well and might have been my favorite part. Super clean and nary a bug to be found! Huzzah!

I really enjoyed this one; the voice acting was fantastic. The concept is really cool also. Make more games!

It was super fun watching you play and thank you for your perseverance :)

That's the good ending!

Thanks, man; glad you enjoyed it!

Glad you had fun with it and I think you’re right about swapping those keyboard controls!

Original and charming! Really nice game here :)

I enjoyed Tato Catcher. Straight up.

That's what we aimed for! Haha thanks for playing :)

Thank you both for the info!
