Haha, thank you! I feel like this is exactly the vibe we was going for! I am glad you hate/loved it!

Thank you for trying out the game! The idea is to build a high tower, but I wish we would've had time to implement to show the height of the tower too. Keeping the 3 colored pieces in was the only idea we came up with in time to not make it endlessly stackable without really caring of what to do.
I would've liked to give it some sort of cost for placing bricks higher up in the tower, and therefor giving the player a reason to build a more stable ground.
Will think about it and see if we can figure out a nice update for it after the voting period.
Thanks for your input!
Super fun idea! I personally don't like tutorials with a lot of text, but I can see how this game might need it, especially with this short time frame for developing it. Would be great to see a future version of this with a short tutorial that shows what to do instead.
I am really liking the idea of being the server with spawning and keeping the players happy, really fun!
Super nice idea! I had lots of fun with it, it was the right amount of stressed feeling! The second forge caught me by surprise which was great.
Targeting felt good, I did find myself smashing the button at times just to clear things. But since it's not really a precision game, it felt like a nice touch!
Thanks for submitting it! Was great to play it!
Haha yes! I am so sad I didn't have time to animate them! I am imagining everything flopping around like crazy when they are running. :D
I'm very glad you liked the game idea! I am definitely bringing the idea with me for a future jam so we can expand on the general idea itself!
Thank you for the lovely comment on the art! I am usually doing some basic pixel art-stuff, but felt like trying something new for this one! Figuring out how to do a tileset was a fun experience!
Thank you for trying out the game! I am glad you had fun with it!
Thank you for playing the game! The enemies moving during the gathering phase was intentional to give the player incitement to jump back and forth between the dimensions. We have now been talking about having a little "cam" show up during the gathering phase to easily see where the enemies are and when you have to come back, I hope that would make it easier to determine when it was time to stop gathering and return to buying towers!
I am sorry about the music! We were setting it up so it would be possible to change the volume, but sadly didn't get that far! But will bring it with us for the next jam that we should definitely focus on it! Thank you!
Thanks for trying out the game, and for giving it a second try! Yes, the information regarding what each gathering-thing was doing should've been made more obvious. And also better feedback for the player when something was clicked. Sadly the balancing got a little bit unfair after a while, the idea was to have stronger towers but time escaped us!
Hahaha yes, that bug was uh... Funny... We found it super late and just didn't have time to fix it, we decided to leave it in as a fun gimmick, but if we are fixing things up afterwards it is definitely something we are removing.
Thank you again! I hope you had fun!
Thanks for playing the game and for the nice comment!
Yes, I have to say I am a bit tempted to finish of some things that we were planning for this game. Will see if we end up doing it, but adding the other tower and making the coins actually drop + add the costs for gathering things would be nice to at least get in
I had lots of fun playing your game! Very impressive for being your first jam! I ended up trying to collect all the coins, and clearing the screen with all the coins took me a little while but definitely didn't make me annoyed. Would've liked to see the amount of coins at the end of the run too, and maybe a 20/how many aliens in total there were. The gliding of the character was a tiny bit annoying, but it also added to the difficulty of the puzzles. I have mixed feeling about it!
But yes, super nice submission!
Also, Godot <3
Thank you for trying out the game and for the detailed comment! I'm really glad you liked the idea and the choice of music! I agree with the shooting sounds, it would've been nice to maybe have a few different but similar sounds for it. Had a little bit of an issue now with the sounds being so long, and with the high fire rate, the volume became higher because of the amount of bullets. Haha.
Thanks again for trying it out!
Sadly we didn't manage to balance the castle in time for the end of the jam, so we ended up disabling it to keep a nice game loop!
The build gives a permanent +1 stone and the worker a temporary+2. The idea was for them to cost gold which the enemies were supposed to drop. We will probably go back and add these two things after end of rating period.
I'm glad you enjoyed the idea, I hope you managed to have some fun with the game! Thanks for trying it out!
Wow! This is such a great game!
I had lots of fun playing it. I really feel like you nailed the 2 dimensions thing, it felt like two completely different games and both definitely worked well. Very impressed! I felt like the game difficulty was nice and got higher in a good speed. Maybe a little bit of a jump in the platformer diffculty, but it was still very much enjoyable! The only thing I would've liked to see is something a bit more visual when attacking. Other than that I absolutely love it!
Nice score!
Thank you for playing our game, I'm glad you had fun with it! The stone issue is weird, that's not supposed to happen! I'm sorry, I hope it didn't ruin the experience!
Love the idea of the tower change. We initially had another tower which had a similar mechanic, but time got away from us and we didn't have time to balance it out so we decided to remove it. (The button is still in there as a little teaser!) Will hopefully be able to update it after the jam with that tower and coins so it's not free to add workers and buildings to the stones.
Good point about additional placing, it's something I normally miss in similar games!
Thank you again for playing and for the detailed comment!
Thanks for playing the game! I'm glad you had fun with it!
I really really like the Q and E solutions for switching color, I will definitely try it out and see how it feels. I tried to do a shift 1,2 and 3 for the shields at first, but it didn't work on all keyboards and this was the only solution I could think of on top of my head. Note to self for next jam: Play test more! Really good input regarding the controls! Thanks!
Thank you for trying the game! Really good idea to have different sliders for the SFX and Music, will definitely keep that in mind for the next jam. I was just so happy I actually remembered to put in a volume slider! Haha. We are planning on trying out some different controls for the color-switching after the voting period is over, I'm glad you liked the mechanic!
I had tons of fun playing it! I definitely felt the "Just one my try"-feeling and kept playing just to get a little further! The movement felt nice after I got a hang of the jumping. It would've been nice with an indicator if there were a bullet on the way from outside screen, but other than that, super nice!
Thanks for a nice experience playing it!
