Really cool game :)
I admit, I haven't finished it yet because of how tight some jumps were. Controls and movement feel good. Graphics and sounds are proper. The obstacles are precise and demanding, but not "bullshit level" of precise.
Very cool for 8 hours. If you can squeeze in a bit more work into the game, adding checkpoints would be a great help I think :D
There can be two reasons for that. Either the enemy got close enough to trigger the explosion - and then you ran away. The explosion takes like a second, so you can still dodge it.
Or it was a chain reaction. One robot exploded and dealt damage to the others. So that's not a bug, it was designed this way :)
(I know, I know. If I had more time, I would make a proper animation for that. But you know, 3 hours is not very long :P)
Thanks. At first, dark atmosphere was just because the inital lighting was weak. Then I realized that this way, it has a bit of a horror feel, so I left it at that. I mean, if you got shrunk to that size, wouldn't you be terrified? :P
And feet being invisible is the side effect of an experiment, duh :P
JK. I will try to figure out some way to make the collider aesthethic enough to be put in the game.
Thanks for the suggestion. I wanted to actually make a circle picker, but that would took too much time. And from experience, using 1234 and WSAD is not a good idea when it relies on the abilities so much :P
And second part is also true, 3 hours is not enough time to design proper levels and mechanics :)
Thank you for the opinion. I know the game is far from perfect, and I feel like I should put this in the game description at this point: this is my first game involving an actual vehicle with physics etc, so I'm surprised the car doesn't explode or go flying :D
And despite that, of course I wanted to make a game waaaay too ambitious for 48 hours,
Again, thanks for the comment :D
It's not working properly.
I'm sorry, I didn't have the time to test the game properly. It works perfectly fine in the editor, but it doesn't run in the client. I will fix it but I know it will probably not be rated in this tournament. I will try it anyway.
If you still want to play the game, here's the fixed version:
