Indeed, it is impossible to tell where a ant is going with just a glance... I used just a small square for the ants for them to feel weak, because of the theme. The lack of a head to know where it is going can be a nuisance. Thanks for suggestion, a little indicator can be good.
Actually, i was going to implement various UI stuff to tell, selection, and stuff like that, but had no time...
The mid-game is kinda tedious because i had not time, sorry...
Thanks for playing my game! Yeah the boss don't have a hurt animation, my intention was to make it look tough, there is only a SFX to show that it is getting hit, it seems it is not enough, thanks for pointing it out!
The movement for the ants i used A* pathfinding project, first time using it, and it is so cool to see them avoiding obstacles haha.
Wow great game, i love it! Gives a Gungeon vibes haha. Here are some minor details if you wish to polish it:
Agility character: after dash gain too much speed, especially bad if there is spikes on the next room.
Taking weapon from treasure, changes visual but don't change shots.
If starts roll touching a box, it isn't destroyed.
Ninjas running away on the wall can't attack, the shuriken is instantiated on the wall.(intended?)
The low fire-rate weapons are too weak, the shot from the energy gun shouldn't be destroyed so easily.
boss is too easy with a high fire-rate weapon.
Overall a very fun game.
Wow what a cute game! Really fun also.
The coffe machine seems a bit strange having to press "Q" everytime since you can do this anywhere on the level.
Not sure if intended, but when you give coffe to a cat don't fill the gauge if he doens't want coffe.
The fact that you can send coffe instead of newpaper is very funny, and increases difficult which is nice.
The cat can jump 3 times before landing, its interesting, but not really necessary hmm...
Overall a really good game!
