Realy well done it's super funy game.
But it would be good if other fishes worked as bonus lives because when you have more of them you are not stronger.
Nevertheless I realy enjoyed gameplay and I love that music.

Heres my game :D

Orphans of God by AgentXMan (itch.io))

in this game you are a normal kid who got kidnapped while going to his house then he got killed after getting kidnapped. then he goes to heaven and he finds 2 kids. those kids bascially died the same way how you died. they then have inherited their powers and even you inherited your powers. you all then take revenge. the Red boi has super speed and thus can run faster. the yellow boi has super jump and thus can jump farther. the player(blue boi) has the ability to shoot thus he can shoot the enemies.

controls:

press the "WASD" keys to move and space bar to jump. to shoot you just hover your mouse on top of the enemy in the level which you are supposed to do.

after the meeting part you can press "R" on your keyboard to swtich to the red boi, "Y" on your keyboard to switch to the yellow boi and "P" to switch to the player (blue boi).

press "L" to restart the level if needed because "R" was taken

If this is your first Game for a Jam. You're on the right track.... Not much to say.

Must:
1 - More FX Audio Feedback on every action. (Is the first thing you should polish if have time)
2 - Camera FX on collision are important, and collision fx (this provide feedabk to the gameplay)

As a personal taste, give the player more sense of control, the slide is too much..

The idea is well thought and fun.

Keep it up dev!.

I liked the concept, the dungeons feel dynamics. I would like to have different floors/ambience between levels to have some variations. Maybe less enemies also in the first levels just to players can get confidence with early mages and advance faster in the game. The animations also felt out of time in some characters but i know time is the real enemy in the jam for this details.

Anyway its a well done game, keep it up!

Played it and rated it! I liked the game. The movement was well made, and i found the ascii table far too late :P was using online conversion until i saw the screenshots. It was really original (and geek) using that as the keys to open doors. Really nice art and ambience.

I played and rated the game! The game-boy style was really well made. I found the music a little bit too repetitive. Maybe some SFX missing, like jumping or changing the character. I liked the idea about platformer with mergeable characters, so good work!

Thank you. The "game-boy" style is actually a limitation of the engine I decided to use. I would think it looks like a Kirby game for the Gameboy color. I also rated the game

Good game overall i already rated. I think i messed up picking up the key when the inventory was full and lost the key. I like the art and ambience in general. The change between slimes is smooth. And the movement felt good in general. Good work!

Really want some valid feedback on this one. Have a play around with the different hosts and parasites once you unlock them, they all feel a little different to play. And if you beat the boss, let us know which combo you used!

Took me a while to understand the walls doing damage to me i dont know if that was necessary otherwise maybe include something that warns the player. The audio and ambience was great, really enjoyed the talking parts also (maybe some message to indicate that clicks advance the talk to help the player not start trying buttons). Overall a really good game.

I liked and rated your game, the controls were confusing for me, maybe using Enter as dash was not so intuitive and the mouse at some point also. The music was kind of lacking. I liked the ambience and how the pieces come one by one with some speech, that was fun.

I love the visuals!!

Maybe try adding some closer boundaries to the scene so you cant escape the map

Also make the collider more accesible so I dont have to aim so well when I try to give him coffee

Flyire-Demo

Flyire is a first-person shooter, action, sky combat game.

Gameplay:

It has an Endless game level, where the player has a normal jet with a mounted MG2B (Machine Gun) on the jet. The player has to travel as far as possible to make a high score.

There are a lot of enemies on the run. you have to keep moving and shoot them down to avoid them shooting at you.

The game would seem easy at the start, but the more score you make the more highscore will be harder to achieve.

This is our jam submission, I would love if you could try it! :

What happens after your death? This game shows you one way it could be. You have to help the souls relive their lives and fight against enemies. Because of the different gravity of the two souls the simple controls get quite interesting. The goal is to pass the life again and reunite the souls once more. Shoot enemies with the small flames that you collect during the game.

This is HEX & AGON, a minimalistic and unique 2D Platformer / roguelite hybrid with probably the funniest tutorial sequence ever created!

I'd love to get your thoughts on it, even if you just play it for the first few levels. And if you happen to beat it, post your time! (it is not easy though).

I put in A LOT of work (the recorded time is 67:57:26 (hours), plus a few hours off-stream), as I made the whole thing all by myself. I'm just so proud of myself that my first game jam ever was a success, as I have been very anxious about that before.

I like the game so much I will keep working towards a full release version of the game!
