Hey there! Thanks for commenting, the reflective effect was achieved by Rinkton and I by creating all the maps manually on the upper side of the reflection and then it was mirrored through code, by copying scale, rotation, distance to symmetry line etc onto the bottom half. The objects disappearing behind the symmetry line was just some simple z_index ordering. Then only the objects on the half of the screen the player was on (top or bottom) had collisions enabled while the other half did not. Idea credit goes to NilsK :)

information on each resource would be very useful, especially dmg, range and cost. was planning on it but somehow never came to it. Thanks for playing!

GODDAMN, 41k zombies is crazy. i was thinking that a scenario where the defense is too strong could occur but didn't think i would see it, based on the budget earned through that wave it looks like there were 8000 zombies in that final wave! crazy stuff, thanks for taking the time to push the game to its limits!

you should be able to right click the defenses to remove them for a full refund during waves and between waves. a small income should also be earned during each wave at about 1 credit per 2 zombies. i should've spent more time optimizing the performance of the game so that it is more playable as it takes away a lot from the experience., anyways thanks for playing and commenting!

Cool idea trying to use different shaped rockets to clear different obstacles, brought me back to the days of playing space flight simulator. Trying to get through the moving walls was a bit frustrating especially the horizontal ones. i cleared four levels before encountering a bug where it seemed after dying to damage, the pop up asking to play again would repeatedly come up when trying to play again, Overall good job!

(1 edit)

oh wow thanks for playing! thats a lot of blood, nice job on the 6000 zombies, thats the most ive seen. am curious to know what browser u played in cause it seems to handle it relatively well

yeah that was the theme relevance exactly, sounded better in my head but is probably too abstract lol

oh nice, thanks for playing it again :)

Neat game with good sounds and visuals, the ball transitions are especially pretty cool. Felt smart when dropping off the stone bridge to the railing below lol, good job!

wow thanks for playing and i totally agree about using barriers to change the zombie horde flow would be cool. the sandbags probably could slow the zombies more aswell ..  the progression after each wave in budget isnt balanced whatsoever as are the defenses, like u mentioned the barriers not being justifiable. game stuttered alot on my firefox aswell but seemed to run much better on chrome.

Really fun to play, very replayable and solid game good job!

Cool take on the theme, i really like the whole vibe the place is giving off, nearly like horror, kept me on edge

Nice simple gameplay with good sound design, best i got was 0:31 after about 10 tries

cool game idea with complementing sound design, i got a bad ending, i guess trading isnt my thing lol

Very nice unique visuals and concept with a very good revelence to theme. simple puzzles in the beginning to show the traits of each ant is pretty smart with harder puzzles later on. Good job!

thanks for reviewing!, you are right about the build costs and a small guide on how everything works would have been good
