Short but fun :) Maybe allowing players to switch ball forms at any moment could increase the game challenge.

Well done!

Excelent concept game. Great graphics. Can't expect everything to be perfect or have 30 levels done in 14 days. Short but sweet, thanks :)

Loved the change effect!

I feel like you had a great idea here, it feels like you ran out of time.
That's the fun/stress test of game jams, limited time, rough ideas that end up being way more work then you thought, no time for tuning multiple levels, random bugs that eat up a lot of brain MP.

These feels like a mobile puzzle game I'd play.

Cool effect on the ball transition.  I could get through the level without switching, but sounds like that's just a bug.  I get the vision of having to switch material to solve different challenges.  Cool concept.

A solid concept! Technically it feels a bit more like 'change is recommended' than is necessary, I was able to get through the course without needing to use the transformation platforms after a few tries. :)

I do like the idea, getting a denser form to push things, a lighter form to be lifted into the air and the base form to... well it doesn't seem like the base form has direct advantages over the other two? It might actually be better if there were just a light and heavy form to swap between. The player could start as the light form which can't push the boulders at all, switch to heavy form for that, then need to switch again for the updraft near the end.

Anyway, it's a good start for a game as it is! It's a shame you didn't have time to implement more levels but that's the way game jams go.

The idea was exactly that. It is true that you don't necessary need to transform to stone to push the boulders; I should have made them heavier. It is also true that the air fan should not be able to lift the wood ball, Unity had a weird bug in the editor, and the "workaround" leaked into the build. The plan was to create more levels where different balls would be used to solve puzzles.

Thank you for trying it ♥

Neat game with good sounds and visuals, the ball transitions are especially pretty cool. Felt smart when dropping off the stone bridge to the railing below lol, good job!

Thank you so much for playing!

Hey there's definitely some nice ideas in there!

The swap of ball material type is a good one. Oddly enough, when it changed material, I expected it to change physical properties like bouncing more or less or being heavier / stronger.

Keep on the good work!

Developer

In theory it does change some properties, maybe I should have made them more noticeable. The air fan should not be able to lift the wood ball, there was a bug in Unity's editor that leaked to the build version. I had to hurry and I forgot to change a value T_T

I see where this could get interesting. This definitely feels like a nice little tutorial for a cool puzzle. Nice transformation effect!

Developer

Thank you! It was a small and simple tutorial. It's a shame I ran out of time to make a couple more levels.

Developer

The game has only one level. Use the following controls:

  • Movement: AWSD keys.
  • Camera Rotation: Q and E keys.
  • Pause: ESC key.

I ran out of time to make more levels and polish the game. Sorry for being boring, I hope I at least got the concept I was trying to achieve.
