Yeah that is weird, i've heard that noise before but it's weird that the event happened with no real signifier. most of the time you'll at least hear a noise or something but you just happened to try to pause. this update was pushed out kind of quickly though according to the dev so glitches are expected. all i can really think is maybe sending kerfur out to do something and checking the basement. Are you running mods?

Check around your base and top of the tower, also sitting at the computer and looking out the windows in your base is always a good idea if you find yourself "stuck" in an event. I've never had what you're talking about but this is my typical solution for ending events. Maybe post the video for the sole reason of hearing the sound.

If you haven't fixed it yet try regenerating save data. by clicking the regenerate data.sav in the settings menu. Also you should read the FAQ at the homepage for the game and the help option in game is very useful as well.

I had the same thing happen looked at maxwells stats using a mod and it seems like he, and all the other cats, have a ripeness status. All the other cats have it set to 3600 and presumably maxwell does too but he also has a spoilage rate of around 2 while all the other cats have that set to zero. Seems like just a bug with maxwell unless theres a reason for him to begin rotting. You can set the the spoilage rate on him using the mod if you really feel like it.

The blue plastic bins have this thing where when you put items in them the item becomes "connected" to the bin, but moving the bin in weird ways, like with grav gun or if you trip over it, can cause the items to fall out of the bin but still be "attached" to the bin. If you pick up the bin and like scoop the items up with the bin it should fix them.

As far as i remember you've always got less money for selling upgrades. I think it's just meant to make people think about what and how to upgrade things ahead of time. Basically just another way to make  the game a little harder.

I'm not sure why. the plug needs to be right next to the outlet. then it should plug in when you let go of the plug.

(1 edit)

you have to attach it to the box like you would with the hash code report. And all you have to do is press the loan button on the right of the screen when looking at a sheet of paper and it will auto fill everything and then you just select which plan you want by choosing the corresponding letter and typing it after the colon at the botttom of the form. You can only do the default loans and i don't think you can edit the form at all except for adding the plan you want unless that has changed.

I've noticed a lot of the time if this happens you can have a sleeping bag on the tower that you can sleep in. I don't know what was causing the paranoia but i've seen certain things that appear super late in game and one of them is right around day 50 i believe. If all else fails i would try looking around for whatever is making him paranoid.

i've never had problems with calall, what exactly is happening when you input that? A lot of the fences can be climbed by double tapping jump while in midair and facing the fence, but the ones on the border are only able to be jumped in certain spots. There is a hole in the metal grate on the "dam" that blocks the river on either side of the map. you can easily get out of the main area by going through those holes and Kerfus can even come with if you want. lol

Go to your video settings and change the color hue near the bottom of the settings.

found one of the (presumably) new plants in the updated kill shed. hell yeah man.

the physics have been removed from plugs to prevent clipping issues most likely. I have red kerfus and the plug doesn't actually plug in unless i let go of the interact key while the plug is next to the socket.

Noticed in the tutorial selling your upgrades on the computer puts everything to max and allows you to sell the fully upgraded versions. Not possible in the main story as far as i can tell so not a huge deal and i know the tutorial is full of secret stuff so this could just be on purpose for an easter egg or something but i figured i'd post about it.

Loving the new visible player model for kel. I've always been a fan of seeing my feet when i look down, although seeing my own face when i look up is new. Lol also the new door mechanics are great. The fridge door especially was always a pain in the ass but not anymore. And the Velma setting is interesting... very cool idea and i'm going to continue playing on it with tripping on props because why not. lol I also really like the color dither setting as setting it lower looks almost like an old recorded video. I've only played a bit and it's been good so far.

The game literally tells you how to do this. If you get a number higher than 10 then you would just put the number in the ones place as your answer, so 11 would be 1 and 12 would be 2, so on and so forth. you will never have a negative either because regardless of what the math says you always take the bigger number minus the smaller one.

The floating can is because the can was "inside" basket. the plastic baskets have a weird trait that you can put things into them and then pick the basket up and the items will become "attached" to the basket. The same happened to me with a piece of paper. I took the basket and scooped the paper with the basket and it unfroze it. As for the falling through the map. That part of the base hasn't had any collision for a while. i think it's just meant to be a teaser for something to come or just an easter egg to people who are really looking around the base. And you can climb out of there (and a lot of other places) by double tapping space against the wall while already jumping, this causes you to climb over obstacles like that area and fences.

I found the fishing gear using a metal detector at the turbine closest to the entrance gate i believe. At the very least it is on the mountain near one of the turbines.

Voices of the Void 0.8 hole under Foxtrot

That's great. Have fun with the game!

This happens with all items that have a cord on them. There should be a button where the cord connects to the object that will "retract" the cord so it is able to be grabbed.

Are you pressing apply in the bottom right corner of the options menu? I just tried inverting both x and y axis and it works. Although i have no idea how someone could play like that lol

Completely delete the original files and then reinstall it. Also i know that you're "supposed" to make new saves on every update but it seems like some people don't have problems with that.
