Magic? I went to your house when you weren’t looking and solved it. (good to know!)

(1 edit)

Hello!

The way you use the addon is by exporting a .dsp file from Distortionator. When including it in your project, it will be imported just like any other scene (.tscn).

You can then use the imported bbg anywhere.

Remember you can always look for examples in the Mother Encore Demo, which uses this plugin.

What’s the character set?!!! :D

What a wonderful looking tool. I will test it within the next days B)

Oh look who uses itch!

Yep, I’m a programmer by trade and couldn’t resist adding NOT gates to the game.

Thank you! Some people said it’s clever, I think it’s the most literal way I could’ve interpreted “Joined Together.”

thanks

nice game dude

Thanks for your time!

I tried to mix in some introductory levels with some hard ones to sell the potential of the game, as a prototype.

in the end, I just wished I had made a softer learning curve.

with the proper levels in-between, those levels are actually super easy to solve. just by learning about air-locks and pushing blocks when they are connected to each other, you can solve those in, like, 30 seconds.

not being able to put levels in between rn is getting on my nerves.

smol puzzles are the best

Oh, I see. It did look like a Ceasar Cypher.

No, that was not on purpose, and I just found out you could do this way afterwards lol. none of the other players did that.

I figured that the pistons being slow would cause something, but I liked the animation so much.

V qba’g yvxr gur vqrn bs gubfr chmmyrf erylvat ba snfg ersyrkrf, bayl ba lbhe ybtvp/fcngvny fxvyy.

And the way to fix it is also simple, I can just make the collision update automatically, without the animation. Then make the animation a bit faster.

Now it’s TOO LATE!

Thanks– wait I remember your game! I was there just ago. Anyways, Thanks! I focused on polishing and doing something interesting.

I’m glad that it felt novel, because this was such a literal interpretation of the theme, it wasn’t as clever as yours, for sure.

It would probably work better if you had more time to flesh everything out. It’s difficult to introduce some ideas to the player when they are complex like this ’-u-

Would work wonders as a physical toy, it’s a very literal interpretation of the theme and yet it’s clever.

Clever. Veeery clever.

Maybe ask Naughty Dog for publishing hahah

Hehehehe thanks! I’m still chuckling when I think of that purple blob pulling the green mosnter on that one room.

I noticed this while developing :( If i were to complete this game i’d fix this bug, but because of the time i had to just work the levels around it and make it into a feature.

Hope it wasn’t too annoying!

Thanks, As i said a thousand other times in this comment section (and still stand for) i wish i could have a better learning curve.

seeing the big spike there is from level 7 to 8 is eating me inside.

Okay, this comparison has me flattered.

Haha that’s a good surprise, because i’m so much not a composer, the animations took 5 minutes, and I literally just mashed a bunch of blocks together to make the puzzles.

Thanks, lol.

I’m sorry, but I can not understand this language.

Yeah, they were the first thing I made. Funny thing is that the fact that they look different does nothing at all here hahaha

Baba is You, yes. My first idea involved each monster having something unique about them other than their colours.

I like it, the camera was nice, also very cute; it was a bit too slow, not on time, but, like, I took 30 seconds to get trough the first jump.

This game is one of the ones that I was able to have fun haha. It has a tutorial, and i got to learn how to do things.

The idea is great; I see that you focused on getting gameplay out so I will be light on the presentation.

I could see this becoming a game with neat graphics, maybe there’s a baby rabbit on top of mama rabbit and they solve puzzles together, lol.

nice music, too.

It’s insanely simple and it’s great on that! I’d like some more snappy controls for that arcadey feel. It IS an arcade game after all.

It was one of the games that was performant enough to run on my potato computer, I appreciate that!

Also, neat idea, combined runner. Would appreciate tighter/faster controls for maximum responsivity though.

I really couldn’t figure out how to play, because I am a dumbass, but that’s very polished. The piano music is moody :O !

And i haven’t seen a combination game like this before. It’s like strategy 2048.

Thank you! I imagine that if I had more time to make puzzles I’d have much more puzzle comedy, hahahaha.

What are we talking about here with «rot13: ernygvzr chmmyrf»?

Anyways, I wish I could have playtested much more, but eh, no time.

Thanks! I just had a dream where this game came out for the Nintendo Switch lol.

I noticed how you said early levels. Yeah. I wish I could’ve made a better difficulty curve after all.

First one who called the blobs “gates.”

Thanks for the comment!

Thanks! That detail was what took the most time.

I’ve never heard of Sokoban, I’m gonna search.

We?

The use of the plural first person pronoun make me wonder how that game could work in multiplayer.

Im glad you had fun.
