Thanks a ton for playing, I hope you enjoyed!!

I did actually have a standard 3rd person camera until very late in the jam. I though this style of camera would fit better, but maybe it was a bad decision ahah. Thanks heaps for playing and leaving your feedback, its much appreciated!!

playing it back now, i definitley agree that the camera movement is "weird" at best - there is way too much lookahead time. I actually had a standard 3rd person camera until very close to submission, but thought this style would fit better. I couldve spent longer getting it right though. Thanks a ton for playing!!

Not a bad effort at all for your first solo game jam! Great start!

The game froze twice (like you mentioned in the description) but I still had fun. Cool idea and nice use of Kenney's assets! Well done!

Thanks heaps!!

I will give it another try in the morning (12:50pm here in Aus XD). Sounds like fun,I thought that might be the case, I just got addicted to collecting chests and watching the coin count rise ahah

I'm not 100% sure because the resolution was a bit off but in the bottom-right corner of the screen that says "you beat me at my own game" there was a picture of something to show "your appreciation". I thought it was a white stool that had fallen over, but couldn't fully make it out from half the image XD

I just edited this to say: I hope this is the right game I'm talking about, going off of memory

Awesome stuff! Out of all the games I've played from this game jam, this one seems to have the most depth, but is still very simple! Well done!

I'm a little disappointed by the "variable jump" not working properly in the final build - hopefully it didn't hinder your experience too much. Thanks heaps for playing!

Ahhh.. I didn't really realise that you could buy more units. I read something in the description but couldn't figure it out - went right over my head. A tutorial would be very welcome but I understand the lack of time to make one. I still had a good time!

Really well thought out use of the main mechanic. Enjoyed playing for a lot longer than I expected. I do think the control bindings for keyboard could have been more intuitive - maybe SPACE for jump, SHIFT for dash? Was very fun regardless, Awesome stuff!!

I was confused at first, but it ended up being fun. The names and descriptions of some of the items were quite entertaining, reminds me of the Pikmin games. Awesome job!

Played quite a few times and got some nice RNG on my last run - finished with 22 keys

- Character controller feels nice and smooth
- Dashing through objects offers more strategy than just following the obvious path
- The shader which makes your surroundings invisible fits really well

Awesome job!

Started out slow, but quickly became a lot more fun. Had a good time and played longer than I thought I would - I actually finished the game. Awesome job!!

Very interesting concept - I haven't seen another like this yet. Well done!

Thanks for playing, I hope you enjoyed even though it is very short!

Played for a lot longer than expected. I ended up pressing the 'X' with around 480 gold, but I'm not too sure what the key was for. Awesome job!!

Very fun to play, and aligns very well with the jam theme. I played for a lot longer than I expected. Well done!

I was a little confused on how to "get better", but I finished the road in nearly 70 turns. Fun to play, well done!

Cool idea! I like the mini map, even though I didn't fully understand it - Being such an integral part of the game was interesting

Cool little experience. Could see this expanding well. Great job!

Not as easy as it looks, but I had fun trying to get better. Awesome job!!

Once I understood the game, it was fun to play. Well done!

Had fun and finished the game. I love the concept and the level design, well done!!

Got a score of 3700 and had fun playing, well done!!

Not a bad start. Good use of assets, well done!

I like the level design - It was smart to have the player hit a wall in the first level, only to make them fall down one of the pits that kills you earlier in the level. Had fun playing both levels, well done!

Not a bad start - had fun playing a few levels. Are the collectables spawning randomly, or have they been manually placed in the world?

Either way, nice job!!

Not very challenging, I know, but I wanted it to be short so that most people would finish the game before they got tired of it. Thanks for playing!

Thanks heaps for playing! I wanted it to be short enough that most people who played it, would finish it - it may be a little too short though... thanks again!

thanks heaps! I appreciate it

Thanks for playing!

Thanks heaps for playing, glad you enjoyed!

I definitely feel your pain ahah... But you could always work on it after the jam and expand the game?

Very addictive gameplay. Found a few shortcuts and finished in around 200 seconds (with checkpoints).

Good work guys. Fits the theme well and is nice to play

I found myself playing longer than I planned to. Cool concept!

Got sucked into playing quite a few levels. Clean visuals, and smooth gameplay. Nice job!
